History
Founded in 2933 in the shadowy depths of Omicron Alpha, Nemesis Corporation emerged from the ambition of two brothers, Jezzail and Kharissar, who carved their legacy from the chaos of Outcast-controlled space. Raised among the ruins of old sleeper ships and the narcotic-fuelled economy of Cardamine, the brothers learned early that survival demanded both cunning and conviction.
While Jezzail thrived in the underworld, mastering the art of smuggling and mercenary warfare, Kharissar envisioned a legitimate empire built on mining, salvage, and trade. Together, they forged Nemesis as a dual-structured powerhouse: one face polished and lawful, the other cloaked in shadows.
By 2944, the brothers set their sights on the Stanton system, a frontier of opportunity and influence. There, Nemesis Corporation expanded its reach, embedding itself in the legal economy while quietly extending its criminal tendrils through the system’s underbelly. Despite their divergent methods, both sides of the corporation operate with unwavering loyalty to their code: honour among allies, ruthlessness toward betrayal, and absolute control over their domains.
Manifesto
Nemesis Corporation exists to dominate every layer of the galactic economy, both in the light and in the dark. We believe that power is not found in purity, but in balance. Our legal operations are built on trust, efficiency, and excellence in resource extraction, logistics, and recovery. Our clients know us as reliable, professional, and discreet.
But beneath the surface, we are something more. We are the unseen hand that moves cargo through blockades, the blade in the dark that shifts the tide of battle, the whisper that topples empires. We do not apologize for our duality, we embrace it. For in a universe ruled by corporations and syndicates alike, only those who master both survive.
Charter
- Dual Sovereignty: Nemesis Corporation is governed by two equal branches, Legal and Criminal, each led by its founding brother. Kharissar oversees all lawful operations; Jezzail commands the covert enterprise. Both report only to each other.
- Operational Integrity: All members, regardless of division, are expected to uphold the highest standards within their field. Legal operatives must maintain a spotless reputation; criminal agents must act with precision and discretion.
- Mutual Protection: Any attack on one branch is considered an attack on the whole. Nemesis responds with overwhelming force, whether through legal arbitration or orbital bombardment.
