History
Fringenauts Inc. began as a small, practical salvage and repair outfit operating along the remote edges of UEE space. In the early years, the company earned its reputation by keeping stranded crews alive, recovering damaged vessels, and maintaining isolated outposts far from established support routes. Reliability, precision, and a willingness to work where others wouldn’t became the foundation of the Fringenauts identity.
As demand for raw materials increased, the company expanded naturally into mining and resource acquisition. Its crews adapted their salvage expertise to asteroid extraction, planetary surveying, and industrial logistics. This shift marked the beginning of Fringenauts’ long‑term focus on frontier industry — working in places where infrastructure was thin and every operation required planning, discipline, and teamwork.
Following the end of the Tavarin conflicts, new regions of space opened to civilian exploration. Fringenauts Inc. responded by establishing a dedicated exploration division, sending survey teams into unmapped systems and charting routes that would later support trade, mining, and scientific research.
