History

Brief Timeline of Firestorm Industries: (in game)

The Company was founded in 2793 by two students who after growing up in all the madness and wanton destruction of the end of the Messer Era, decided that with the storm that had passed that their company would create the fire that would guide humanity to greatness. When naming the company one of the founders had an epiphany and decided that Firestorm Industries would be a great idea and it stuck and this epiphany became the way of naming their designs and products, even if the names were somewhat odd and silly.

First in their line of designs was the Fireflower battle rifle, which caused the targets atoms to deconstruct at a nuclear level creating a stigma as the most dangerous gun ever as medical attention would not help someone who was a bunch of electrons and protons. The military rejected this gun in favour of the Behring P4 gun because it was much cheaper, in a time of military cut backs to show the galaxy that humanity was peaceful. The gun itself was never mass produced due to production reasons (it was very expensive to make) and their venture into the sidearm market ended there.

Next came the space flight division who created the Atlas colony ship. This large ship was designed with the idea of discovering and colonising planets the other side of jump points and defending itself with a vast array of defences and carried single seat fighters. It had enough on board resources

Manifesto

Goals:
Our primary focus in star citizen is EXPLORATION, FREELANCING, TRADING and everything that goes with them, such as salvage, escort, mining; hopefully all at the same time, but we’ll see how that turns out.

How we roll:
As we plan to be at heart a social enterprise to look out for each other and to progress as a whole community.
The idea behind the social enterprise thing is that for everything that we do that generates income (together or as an individual) between 5 and 10% of the earnings is moved over to a community fund that at the end of every month it is added up and we decide what to do with it e.g.: put it towards a huge ‘clan ship’ that anyone in FSI can use or can be equally divided between the players of FSI as a monthly ‘bonus’.

Comms:
We are going to use Razer Comms for chatting and talking and things like that
The organisation forum will be used to post what we are doing and where and when things and events are happening and for general chat and voting on what to do with the community fund each month.

The Scrubs United (TSU) Division is the Name of our clan on World of Tanks, Steam Group and the Razer Comms Channel

Finally
As we are a casualgroup, we generally people with the same relaxed attitude to gaming but with a passion for STAR CITIZEN

Charter

Basic rules of conduct in FSI:

1. Have fun
2. Don’t Die
3. Be respectable of other players e.g.: no profanity, racism or sexism
4. Be respectable of local police and the military; we will not get involved in disputes between us and the authorities
5. Look out for each other and help each other over come problems that one person couldn’t do alone.
6. Remember to contribute to the organisation and events in the ‘verse’
7. As an organisation we will NOT value one religion, ideology, creed, race/ethnic origin or country other another religion, ideology, creed, race/ethnic origin or country.
