F-Team is a paramilitary unit that is focused on coordination, cooperation, and fun. We are both furry-friendly and open to all who have the will to win by working willingly together and who will always back their compatriots.
Not so long ago and in a place not so far from here, F-Team was formed as a freelance paramilitary org by a wolf with whom we have since amicably parted ways and by Admiral Arc, our CO (commanding officer). Together with Rear Admiral Vulp, who is our XO (Executive Officer) and 2IC (Second-in-Command), Captain Kai, our other flag officers and their compatriots, F-Team has grown into a friendly, small but successful org who are most notably affiliated with the Chaos Gremlins.
F-Team members undergo a rite of passage called “Running the Gauntlet”, in which each worthy initiate participates with their compatriots, earning their place as full-fledged members and a complete set of uncommon heavy combat armour in the process.
How about you? Are you ready to help write the next chapter in the ongoing saga of F-Team? Do you dare Run the Gauntlet and earn your place among us?
Our mission is best summarized in our threefold motto:
- To ADVANCE in our game progression by working together to further hone our skills,
- To ADAPT to overcome all difficulties including those presented by missions, events, enemies, and the bugs and features of the game itself, and
- To ACHIEVE our personal and mutual goal of having fun in Star Citizen!
F-TEAM CHARTER & CODE OF CONDUCT
[ F-TEAM CHARTER ]
We are an inclusive and helpful org open to honourable adult (18+) humans and furries alike. “Honourable” means you say what you mean, you mean what you say, and your word is your bond (every promise you make is a promise you keep) especially to your fellow org members. Last but not least, every F-Team member is honour bound to aid and back their compatriots (org-mates) whenever and wherever within reason – just as we in turn will help and back you.
We are a FUN paramilitary org. Although our ranks and structure are military, we are all here to have fun and everyone takes a turn at leading the group in various operations. You’ll often find even our Flag Officers deferring to others when the latter have more experience in the area of operations (contested zones, missions, events, etc.).
Our “Triple-A” motto is as follows: Advance, Adapt, Achieve.
[Advance]: Progression is a cooperative effort whether in a mission, through an event, to gain and share knowledge and experience, or to build our fleet.
[Adapt]: Murphy’s Rules of Combat includes “No plan of attack ever survives initial contact with the enemy.” This includes the ever-present bugs, glitches, and weirdness that results from playing in a game that isn’t even in beta yet!
[Achieve]: Through teamwork we will endure and overcome to achieve our personal and collective goals.
[ F-TEAM CODE OF CONDUCT ]
[Article 1]: Anything that causes undue harm to our operations, reputation, and/or org member(s) is not allowed.
Simply put, this is the “anti rules lawyer rule” that comes into effect when someone does something wrong that isn’t otherwise listed in our Code of Conduct. “Undue” means “undeserved”: for example, our org may occasionally get into a fight with rivals (but this is a collective decision that includes our leadership).
[Article 2]: Don’t be a d*ck/d*uche: be nice or leave.
This is the usual rule against bullying, age/racial/gender/etc. discrimination, griefing, harassment, trolling, etc. Just don’t.
[Article 3]: Maintain OPSEC at all times.
“OPSEC” is “Operational Security.” This means NOT revealing or discussing ANY participation in F-Team operations to anyone outside our org, including and especially in Global and other chats in Star Citizen, unless and until both after said ops have fully concluded AND disclosure is authorized by our Flag Officers. Do not feed the trolls (or become one yourself).
[Article 4]: Respect your leadership and your compatriots.
Truth be told, we’re generally very easy-going. There does come a point when decisions and rulings need to be made, and these must be heeded. This rule also protects whoever is appointed leader while we are in a mission, event, etc. irrespective of their “usual” rank, including you!
[Article 5]: We’re rated “M” for “Mature.”
We are all here to have fun but let’s stay mindful of and courteous to our compatriots. Using salty language in moderation (and not to insult compatriots) is to be expected as are occasional adult-themed references when not done to excess.
