Force VooDoo is rooted in a friendship nearly fifteen years strong. Mutual interests, shared values, and appreciation for differences are the core of the friendships that have become family.
When you’re truly Force VooDoo, there will be times you’re all by yourself…but you’ll never be alone.
It is our intent to create a casual, friendly atmosphere to be enjoyed by all.
Above all else, we believe in honor in all things. We believe in helping where we can and leaving the world better for our passage through it.
We believe in quality…not quantity. We will never have the most members, but as far as we’re concerned, we do have the best.
-> Approach all dealings and interactions with fairness and integrity. If this rule is followed, there is zero need for any others. Role-play is not an excuse for violations.
That being said, there are two additional provisions members must know.
-> No Piracy: Following our cornerstone principle of honor in all things, we do not condone piracy of any sort. Participation in piracy is grounds for summary ejection from the organization with no right of appeal. Role-play is not an excuse.
Let’s take a moment to explain this one because it is important.
We do not want to impede the game-play and fun of any of our members. If you want to pirate and you see that as your play-style then so be it. However….we do not want our play-style impeded either.
If you were a member of this org and were to begin pirating, many game play mechanics and other players would label us as guilty by association.
At that point, our game would become different than we feel we would enjoy. We now have to guard you when you get a bounty. We now have whole, additional areas of space that we would need to avoid.
Game-play Impeded.
An alternative that we would recommend is that, if you were to choose to live your life as an “outlaw,” then create an organization or join one that does that type of thing. There is nothing that would stop us from being associated with you. Possibly selling to you. Talking, trading, enjoying the game together. We simply do not want this organization, this name, this history that we have created to be associated with crime. This place is a haven where our members can play a game in peace. Where we can go and find trouble…..not constantly feel like we are running from it.
Who knows? That might change one day.
If it does…it will be a choice we make together, as a team, as we always have. Not one we have made for us.
-> Do not cheat, malign, swindle, or otherwise harm fellow members. This, honestly, should go without saying, but it’s very difficult to claim “I didn’t know” with this posted as #3 of the Charter. Role-play is not an excuse.
