History

Galactic Homeowners Association

The Galactic Homeowners Association (HOA) was founded in the Stanton system after a series of unfortunate incidents involving abandoned ships, unauthorized weapons fire, and several extremely ugly paint jobs that severely impacted local property values.

Originally established as a small volunteer Neighborhood Watch, the organization quickly discovered that gentle reminders and polite warnings were ineffective when dealing with pirates, smugglers, and citizens who believed hangars were optional.

In response, the HOA adopted a more proactive approach to community management.

Today, the Galactic HOA operates across known space enforcing community standards with decisive action, advanced spacecraft, and overwhelming firepower. Through these efforts we ensure that orbital neighborhoods remain orderly, compliant, and aesthetically pleasing.

Our mission is simple:

  • Maintain order.
  • Protect property values.
  • Enforce community standards.

Membership dues are mandatory. Fines = Death.

Manifesto

The Principles of the Galactic HOA

The galaxy has grown unruly. Systems once envisioned as thriving communities have fallen into chaos—reckless combat in residential orbit, illegally parked ships blocking landing zones, and unregulated criminal activity damaging the reputation of entire sectors.

The Galactic HOA rejects this disorder.

  • We believe civilization requires standards.
  • A thriving system must be organized, respectful, and properly maintained. Citizens who follow the rules have nothing to fear. Those who do not will be corrected.
  • Where other organizations see piracy and chaos, we see code violations.
  • Where others tolerate disorder, we enforce compliance.

The HOA exists to ensure that the neighborhoods of the future remain safe, orderly, and respectable.

Our tools are simple:

  • Discipline
  • Enforcement
  • Superior firepower

Community standards must be upheld.
Compliance is mandatory.
Fines = Death.

Charter

Galactic HOA Community Standards and Violations

The following bylaws apply to all residents, visitors, and suspicious vessels operating within HOA-managed systems.

Failure to comply will result in immediate enforcement.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Parking Violations

Improper ship parking disrupts traffic flow and negatively affects property values.

Examples include:
  • Parking in front of another citizen’s hangar
  • Blocking landing pads
  • Leaving abandoned ships in orbital common areas
  • Parking a Drake Cutlass where luxury vessels are expected

Fine: Death

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Excessive Weapons Discharge

Unregulated weapons fire can disturb local residents and damage nearby property.

Examples include:
  • Ballistic weapons fire in residential orbit
  • Missile launches without HOA approval
  • Railgun use during quiet hours

Fine: Death

Unsightly Vessels

Poor ship maintenance lowers neighborhood standards.

Examples include:
  • Excessively damaged hulls
  • Unapproved paint schemes
  • Visible scorch marks exceeding HOA tolerance levels

Fine: Death

Illegal Salvage Operations

Removing wreckage without HOA authorization violates community recycling policy.

Examples include:
  • Unauthorized salvage of HOA enforcement targets
  • Collecting scrap before compliance inspection

Fine: Death

Failure to Pay Membership Dues

The HOA operates through collective responsibility.

Members must contribute to:
  • Fleet operations
