Guardians of Kadesh — History

Long before our arrival in this system, we were a thriving people upon the world of Kadesh. Ours was a proud civilization built upon unity, exploration, industry, and the pursuit of knowledge. Vast cities stood beneath golden skies, trade routes stretched across the stars, and the fires of progress burned brightly within our people.

But Kadesh was not destined to endure.

The world began to turn against us. Great earthquakes shattered our continents. Mighty storms consumed entire regions. Crops failed beneath a dying sky while oceans swallowed the old coasts. As panic spread, our scientists uncovered a terrible truth: the Kadesh star itself was collapsing. In time, it would consume everything we had ever known.

Faced with extinction, the people of Kadesh united for one final purpose.

Massive colony ships were constructed in orbit while every remaining resource was poured into a desperate exodus. Millions sought survival among the stars, carrying with them fragments of our history, our culture, and the enduring flame of our people. Many ships vanished into the void. Others were never heard from again.

We are among the few who survived.

After generations adrift, our fleet emerged within this new frontier. Though far from the world of our birth, we endure still. We are the Guardians of Kadesh — keepers of its memory, protectors of its ideals, and builders of its future.
