History

Wikipedia: A goblin is a small, grotesque, monstrous creature that appears in the folklore of multiple European cultures. First attested in stories from the Middle Ages, they are ascribed conflicting abilities, temperaments, and appearances depending on the story and country of origin, ranging from mischievous household spirits to malicious, bestial thieves. They often have magical abilities similar to a fairy or demon, such as the ability to shapeshift.

Mythos&Fandom: A Goblin is a type of fairy originally from European folklore. The word “goblin” is originally derived from the Greek word “Kobalos,” which translates into English as “Rogue” or “Evil Spirit” The word goblin has traditionally been reserved for any ugly fairy that is either mischievous or malevolent. Because of this, the term goblin has been used to describe a wide variety of creatures found in a multitude of traditions throughout Europe.

Manifesto

As all goblins know, we serve only one master, ourselves! That being said, we all also know… Goblin alone…weak … Goblin together…STRONG!

Charter

While Goblins may want to explore the verse on their own, creating loot stashes of their own, it always helps to have a smelly, dirty, and dark cave to make shelter… Goblins find themselves grouping together in their dark hidden worlds with nothing better to do then plan their next plunder…

We don’t expect the strictest of relationships throughout the goblin legion, but we must always remember a little known fact about goblins…
We have a long memory… any action taken against one of our own kind could have swift and severe consequences, so keep that in mind before you kill or maim another goblin, or if you instead need to raise a horde to defend (and share) your plunder.
