Gold Leaf Trading Company / GOLDLEAF

Gold Leaf Trading Company, was founded back in 1712 on Terra in the Sol system. Back when Pirates roamed the seas on boats made of wood and Iron. Trading back then was about having a strong knowledge of the routes that were safe and planning well ahead for what might be lurking about the grand oceans. When Gold Leaf was founded we came in with the expectation that we would lose some profits now and again to pirates and less reputable people. So we built are ships to fight and to take a hit, the trade lanes were safe because we cleared the way while hauling our goods where ever the wind blew.

Its no different when traveling the Stars today, we have outfitted our fleets with top of the line components. We follow the same values and trading methods that Gold Leaf’s founders did long ago. Build strong dependable ships and destroy anything that tries to plunder are holds.

Our Fleet

The Crown Jewel of our fleet the Banu Merchantman that my farther BalaramXII Gold Leaf past down to me. “The Golden Leaf” as she is called, is a large cargo and trading vessel that was given to him after he saved a group of stranded Banu Traders out near the edge of the Stanton system. The Banu trader turned out to the heir to one of the Banu chieftains who wish to remain nameless, the Banu chieftain ever grateful for the return of his heir gifted my Father with one of their family Merchantman.

For Exploration we have the Carrack a top of the line exploration vessel outfitted with everything one of our crews need to explore the black for artifacts, safe trade routes and rare mining nodes. We haven’t yet named her but are discussing the name “The Golden Wind”.

For a continued source of rare materials and ores we have acquired a Capital class ship the Orion she is name “Munchy”. A fitting name given to her by one of our esteemed members on his first day on the ship watching her eat asteroids.

For smaller Trade and cargo runs we have a Hull B named “The Box”. A fare sized hold and speed to get things moving about.

For some extra profits after we blow up some pirates or other less reputable fellows we have the Vulture. This ship is another recent acquisition and we haven’t yet named her.
