We’re a crew of rebels, misfits, and guns-for-hire who value freedom and firepower. No sneaking around—we take the loud mercenary jobs other orgs won’t touch. Expect questionable piloting, zero UEE rules, and a good time. Grab a gun and join the squad.

History

Forged from the fragmented remains of the Hunters Alliance, The Goon Squad was born after two previous iterations of the Alliance ultimately collapsed and were disbanded under different leadership. Refusing to let a solid crew scatter to the solar winds of the Stanton system, I tracked down the remnants of those old rosters and rallied enough of our reliable veterans back together to build something entirely new. We officially reformed as The Goon Squad, intentionally stripping away the bloated structure that doomed our predecessors. Designed from the ground up to be a low-maintenance, low-activity, and strictly non-professional outfit, our history isn’t defined by rigid hierarchies or mandatory deployments. Instead, it is the story of a resilient, laid-back group of misfits who just want to log in, take on some loud jobs, and have a good time without the pressure.

Manifesto

We are a laid-back crew of misfits and guns-for-hire, forged from the fractured remnants of the Hunters Alliance to prioritize freedom and firepower over professional structure. We reject UEE regulations and strict schedules, choosing instead to take on the loud mercenary contracts with zero pressure and zero drama. If you have a loaded weapon, a sense of humor, and a desire to get paid without the corporate headache, you belong in The Goon Squad.

Charter

The Goon Squad Guidelines (We barely call them rules)

Rule 1: Don’t Shoot the Squad (On Purpose): Friendly fire happens when things get loud and turrets are hot, but intentional griefing of your own crew will get you spaced.

Rule 2: Real Life Always Comes First: We’re here to have fun, not punch a time clock. If you need to drop out mid-quantum to deal with the real world, do it. We don’t do mandatory attendance or strict weekly schedules.

Rule 3: Leave the Drama at the Airlock: We are a casual crew of misfits. Toxicity, elitism, and constant complaining don’t fit our vibe. Come to hang out, make some aUEC, and enjoy the ride.

Rule 4: UEE Regulations are Suggestions: Once we take a contract, we finish it. We don’t care about playing by the UEE’s strict rules or keeping a squeaky-clean record, but we do care about getting paid and getting out alive.

Rule 5: Bring a Gun and a Sense of Humor: Expect things to go completely wrong. Ships will explode, well-laid plans will fall apart, and we will probably crash a few times. Don’t take it too seriously—just laugh it off and reload.
