They called their shadowy leader The Reaper, a figure whose true identity remains buried in encrypted logs and whispered legends. What is known: after a catastrophic betrayal during a high-value extraction op in the Orion fringe—where official channels abandoned them to die amid Vanduul raiders—the survivors swore an oath forged in plasma and vengeance.No longer would they bow to corporate contracts or Advocacy red tape. Effective 2956 (Stanton Standard Calendar)This Charter binds every member of THE GRIM EMPIRE to our core truths: Control. Domination. Inevitability. It is not a suggestion. It is law.I. Purpose & StructureThe Empire exists to dominate contested space through bounty hunting, targeted PvP, deep-space exploration for strategic gain, and the systematic elimination or subjugation of opposition.
We operate as a meritocratic hierarchy. Rank is earned through proven kills, successful hunts, claimed territory, secured contracts, and demonstrated ruthlessness. Loyalty is proven in action, not words.
No member is entitled to anything. Everything is taken or earned.
II. Ranks & AuthorityReaper Lord – Supreme commander. Final authority on all operations, contracts, declarations of war, and expulsions. Voice is law.
Void Reapers – Inner council. Elite hunters with veto power on major decisions. Must have at least 50 certified terminations or equivalent conquests.
Grim Stalkers – Senior operatives. Lead strike teams, exploration fleets, and high-value hunts. Minimum 20 confirmed PvP/bounty kills.
Shadow Reapers – Full members. Proven in combat and exploration. Eligible for command of small squads and independent contracts.
Initiates – Recruits under probation. Must complete a “First Blood” trial (successful bounty, PvP kill, or major exploration contribution) within 30 days to ascend.
Promotion is by Reaper Lord decree or unanimous Void Reaper vote. Demotion or expulsion is immediate for betrayal, cowardice, or repeated failure.III. Code of ConductThe Hunt is Sacred Never abandon a mark unless ordered.
Never let a target escape alive if capture was the contract.
Claim every bounty head (or proof) personally—ghost claims are forbidden.
Domination Above Mercy Show no quarter unless it serves a larger strategic purpose (ransom, intel, terror).
Ambush, boarding, and total destruction are encouraged when victory is assured.
Empire First All spoils from Empire-sanctioned operations are subject to 20% tithe to the central armory/fleet fund (Reaper Lord discretion on distribution).
Betrayal of a brother/sister results in a standing bounty issued by the Empire itself—payable to any member who collects.
Discipline & Silence No unauthorized leaks of operational details, bases, or fleet movements.
Disputes between members are settled by duel (agreed rules) or Reaper arbitration. No external authorities (Advocacy, guilds) are ever involved.
Exploration & Conquest Newly discovered systems, resource nodes, jump points, or black sites claimed during Empire ops become Empire territory by default.
Members may request exclusive rights to exploit a find for a limited period (Reaper approval required).
IV. Trials & InitiationEvery Initiate must complete the Grim Oath and survive a live combat trial (bounty hunt, PvP engagement, or high-risk recon) under supervision.
Failure means expulsion. Success means the brand: the Empire’s sigil burned or etched into gear, ship, or skin.
V. Expulsion & BountiesCrimes against the Empire: treason, cowardice in battle, theft from brothers, collaboration with rivals.
Penalty: Permanent expulsion and Empire-wide bounty (minimum 500,000 aUEC, escalating based on severity).
The Reaper Lord may issue “Grim Edict” – open season on the expelled, no questions asked.
VI. AmendmentsThis Charter may only be amended by unanimous vote of the Void Reapers and approval of the Reaper Lord.
It is etched in blood and plasma—violate it at your peril.We are the shadow that ends light.
