Hammer Industries: We aspire to build new pathways to the stars.
We bring civilization to the vast expanse of space, building value for shareholders through discovery and exploitation of resources.
Hammer Industries was originally formed in order to disrupt the personal tools industry, long-regarded as a stale industry. “How can we build a better hammer?” was the question. The answer: we can’t.
A year after its formation, the company went the first of many re-organizations and bankruptcies that would eventually lead to the company we know and love today. Four years later, HAMIND boasted 250 employee-owners, sharing responsibilities and profit alike.
Today, Hammer maintains the same social capitalist philosophy as the founders, and many more employees all enjoy a stake in the company while they complete their mission to push humanity as far as it can go.
In order to bring about the best possible future for our employee-owners and every citizen in the ‘verse, we seek to explore new worlds and discover resources for humanity to exploit.
Hammer Industries is fully owned by its employees, the first generation of which wrote this charter.
“Do good work, and cultivate strong relationships. Treat the company as family, and take care of each other.”
