2888 – Hazlewood Tech Repairs founded by William (Bill) Russell Hazlewood a grease monkey by trade. Bill Grew up on the back worlds of the galaxy working as a mechanic, and at the age of 20 he joined the UEE military. Bill put his hands on all sorts of different ships in his 25 years of service, and some were of the best ships the military had to offer. Upon retirement at the age of 45 he opened his own shop HTR.

2889 – Hazlewood Tech Repairs was a success being there location was in the terra system a prime spot for spacefarers. They also had a lower rate than most places which also contributed to their success. This lead to the second location being opened making HTR a chain. Bill had a son that year named William after him, and he called him Billy from day one.

2900 – Eleven years later HTR was opening its hundredth shop with locations through many systems. At this time the company was becoming a household name.

2914 – Bill senior steps down as the company’s Chief Executive at the age of 71. He hands the company to his son Billy, age 25, who just recently graduated from one of the finest engineering schools around. Billy also graduated at the top of his class with high honors. Bill senior stays on as a board member.

2915 – Billy takes the company in a new direction from not only a ship service company, but to an engineering and manufacturing company of ship components of Billy’s own design. Their first ship component that Billy designed was the Omega engine. Billy also in this same year changes the face of the company to Hazlewood Photonic Technologies or HPT. HTR becomes a sub-division of the now new corporation.

2918 – Billy has taken the corporation much further than anticipated in 3 years. HPT is known for the tough, long lasting, superior components with innovative engineering. Billy also becomes a father this year to a son named Liam Hazlewood.

2927 – Billy turns 37 this year and has four major companies under his belts for contracts RSI, Aegis, Misc, and Origin Jumpworks. Billy has also employed some of the most talented engineers and pilots according to his specifications. The corporation had become an engineering and trading company.

2933 – A sad time for the Hazlewood family Bill senior at the age of 90 passes away in his sleep he was still a board member to his dying day. Liam, 15 now, was away at school during this time. Liam came back for the funeral, but as soon as it was over he was back at school.

2938 – At this point HPT is in need of some revising. First thing Billy does is the newly hired engineers go through a training program to be a Pilot first or a PIT (Pilot in Training). Before they even start working with any projects. His motto is if you’re going to work on ships you need to know how to operate a ship correctly and efficiently. His logic is sound and opens the engineers up to how a ship can be designed, or how the engine can be reworked, or how this component can last longer. Then they become a Pilot EIT (Engineer in Training). The engineer did go to school and has a degree, but it not the same as hands on training. Once they complete this they graduate to Engineer Pilot then there career can really begin. This program that they go through also helps HPT’s trading network with good pilots that are engineers which have more knowledge then regular pilots it gives the company a sharper edge.

2943 – Liam is 25 and has recently graduated with his engineering degree while going to college under the UEE, joining because of his grandfather, he learned how to handle a ship like a fighter more so then his own companies training could of done for him, and HPT is becoming a great corporation. With this knowledge and expertise of piloting he can improve the company’s training program. This is the project that Billy puts Liam in charge of for now until a few years pass, and then he will give him control of Hazlewood Photonic Technologies. Although this year it comes sooner than later on a vacation trip his father and mother were taking to Terra which is his mother’s birth planet. A accident occurred by a drunk pilot who crashed into a satellite moments before the company ship came out of warp with all the junk floating around and the chaos that Billy was unprepared for it was very difficult to avoid, and a piece of junk flew in the engine intake causing the ship to lose power and blow the engine. With the loss in power the shields could not sustain entry into the planet’s atmosphere causing the ship to burn up with only fragments remaining. Liam after hearing the news is heartbroken, angry, and alone. His family is gone his grandfather had no family his grandmother, who died long ago, her family was long gone. His Father was an only child like him and his mother was an orphan with no family. Liam now takes control of HPT and is accepting people of all backgrounds to take this corporation to the limit, and to dive into every aspect of the verse.To do this he will have to bring together some of the most powerful leaders together under one roof. With the tragedy that has fallen upon him we shall see were the verse will take him.
