The ICA began as a loose pact between independent miners and haulers who were tired of bad contracts and worse payouts. They pooled their resources, standardized their ops, and turned scattered solo crews into a single industrial pipeline.

As the Association grew, so did the threats it faced. Relying on favors and ad-hoc escorts was no longer enough, so ICA invested in its own shield: a private military division operating under the same cooperative principles as its industry wings.

Profits and member votes eventually funded not just one, but two flagship warships—the ICSS Neptune Fortuna, a Polaris-class corvette, and the ICSS Legionnaire, a Perseus-class heavy gunship. These vessels serve as the Association’s hammer and shield: anchoring down complex ops, securing risky trades, and sends a clear message that would read “Nobody touches our boats, not without taking a lick or two of their own”.

Today, ICA is known as a co-op where industry, combat, and roleplay all intersect: you can spend one night hauling ore with the boys, the next crewing a turret on the Neptune, and the one after that taking first place in a company racing tournament—always with the same promise:
