History

Imperial Intelligence (commonly referred to simply as the Agency) is the secretive intelligence arm of the UEE, created by Imperator Messer following his rise to absolute power. Answering solely to the Imperator, the Agency was entrusted with a wide range of foreign and domestic operations. Beyond monitoring external threats and allies, the Agency also served as a tool of internal control, ensuring that the Imperator’s subjects remained compliant. Operatives were granted full autonomy and executive immunity in the execution of their duties, creating an atmosphere of fear even among the highest levels of UEE command. No one could be certain how influential or embedded any given operative truly was within the Agency’s hierarchy.

The Agency continued to serve successive Imperators in this manner until the Massacre of Garron II, after which the ensuing revolution reshaped the UEE’s political and military structures.

In the modern era, the Agency exists as a semi-autonomous body within the UEE, operating as both a military and civilian intelligence organization. It answers officially to the Advocacy, though in practice its true loyalty remains with the Imperator. Despite post-Messer reforms, almost nothing is publicly known about the Agency’s early activities, and many historians speculate that its origins may predate Messer’s rise to power.

Today, the Agency oversees foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, and internal security operations. It monitors the Advocacy, the UEE Navy, and civilian megacorporations alike, ensuring continued loyalty to the Empire.

  • Executor Devon Steele – The only publicly identified member of the Agency’s command structure, serving as its de facto leader.

Manifesto

The Agency undertakes a vast array of missions, most of which remain classified and obscured behind bureaucratic red tape, missing files, and vanished personnel. However, several of its official objectives are publicly acknowledged, including but not limited to:

*Active and passive intelligence gathering on foreign governments, organizations, corporations, and factions.
*Infiltration of foreign entities—whether hostile or merely neutral toward the UEE.
*Assassination of targets deemed threatening to the interests or security of the UEE.
*Providing reconnaissance support to the UEE Navy, including cooperation with Naval Intelligence during space combat operations.
*Monitoring the political and military leadership of the UEE to ensure loyalty, competency, and operational stability.
*Conducting counterintelligence operations.

Charter

The Agency’s operational protocols are entirely classified, with no verified information available to anyone outside the organization. The only known details are its official hierarchy and the presumption that it answers directly to the Imperator and, formally, to the UEE Advocacy.
