History

The IICORP Days: Intergalactic Industrial Corporation

Our roots originally started in the freight and resource game. Back then, IICORP stood for the “Intergalactic Industrial Corporation,” and our primary focus was strictly on industry and logistics—running cargo, mining, and managing supply chains across the system.

An Organic Expansion

But as anyone who plays Star Citizen knows, you can’t just run logistics in a vacuum. To protect our cargo hauls and mining claims, we quickly realized we needed a security team. When things went sideways in the black, we found we needed dedicated medical support to keep everyone on their feet. Then came trade and commerce to actually manage and sell all the resources we were pulling in. We were building out all these specialized wings just to keep our core operations running smoothly.

From Specialists to Teachers

As we brought in new players to fill these branching roles, we spent a lot of time showing them the ropes. One day, we took a step back and realized that through all this organic growth, we had inadvertently built an organization with experienced players in every single gameplay loop. We had slowly transitioned from a dedicated industrial outfit into a group that had someone ready and willing to teach just about anything the ‘verse had to offer.

Transitioning into ININ: The Next Chapter

Because our community had grown so far beyond our original scope, the old corporate logistics tag didn’t really fit who we had become. Transitioning from the Intergalactic Industrial Corporation (IICORP) into ININ (Interstellar Initiative) marks a fresh chapter that perfectly aligns with our true identity today.

While the name is cleaner and our reach is much broader, the foundation remains exactly the same. We’re no longer just moving cargo; we’re taking the initiative to teach new pilots, share our collective experience across every career path, and build a dependable, welcoming community together.

Manifesto

At Interstellar Initiative (ININ), our philosophy is simple: The ‘verse is too big and too unforgiving to fly alone.

We aren’t a hyper-militarized faction, and we aren’t a soulless corporation chasing daily profit quotas. We are a community of players who believe that the absolute best part of Star Citizen is the shared experience. We built this organization on the fundamental idea that knowledge should be shared, mistakes are just part of the learning process, and every pilot deserves a reliable wingman.

Our Core Pillars

Mentorship Over Ego:

We leave our egos at the airlock. Our primary mission is to teach, guide, and help each other improve. Whether you are figuring out how to request landing clearance for the first time or coordinating a massive multi-crew operation, someone here is ready and willing to show you the ropes.

Patience and Progression:

We know the learning curve is a cliff. We will never rush a new player or get frustrated when things go completely sideways. Glitches happen. Explosions happen. We laugh it off, claim the insurance, and try again together.

Freedom to Explore:

Because our org grew organically from basic logistics into security, medical, and trade, we have veterans in every field. We will never lock you into a single career path. We encourage you to explore every gameplay loop and find what you truly love doing.

Community First:

Real life always comes first, no exceptions. We are here to decompress, have a good time, and build a dependable team.

Our Promise

If you fly with ININ, you will never fly without backup. We will teach you the mechanics, cover your six, and help you find your footing in the black.

Welcome to the Initiative. Let’s build something great together.

Charter

1. Real Life Always Comes First

We are a community built around a game, and real-world responsibilities will always take priority. Whether it’s family, work, or just needing a break, you will never be penalized for stepping away. There are no mandatory login quotas or strict playtime requirements here.

2. Patience is Mandatory

Because we are heavily focused on teaching and mentorship, patience is our most valued trait. Everyone was a rookie once. When flying with ININ, you are expected to be patient with new players, answer questions when you can, and help others learn the ropes without frustration or condescension.

3. Leave Your Ego at the Airlock

We have zero tolerance for toxicity, elitism, or bringing unnecessary drama into the organization. We are here to decompress and enjoy the ‘verse together. Treat every member with respect, regardless of whether they have been backing the game for years or just bought their first starter package today.

4. Play Your Way, But Play Together

While solo play is always fine, ININ thrives on collaboration. We encourage everyone to jump into comms, group up, and experience different gameplay loops. Whether you are interested in deep-space logistics, running medical rescues, or providing security, we support your chosen career path.

5. Represent the Initiative

When you fly under the ININ tag, your actions reflect on the entire community. We don’t expect you to be a saint, but we do expect you to avoid senseless griefing, combat logging, or general toxicity in global chat. Keep it classy, help those who need it, and let our teamwork speak for itself.

6. Share the Knowledge

If you discover a new trade route, figure out a workaround for a persistent bug, or master a new ship system, share it with the team. ININ was built on the continuous exchange of information, and our collective knowledge is our greatest asset.
