Forged in the void, hardened by battle. We deliver elite security, escort, and tactical services across Stanton and Pyro. In the cold of space, Iron Sky stands unbreakable.
Iron Sky Security was founded in 2947 by retired UEE Navy Commander Marcus Velen and a cadre of former military officers and pilots. Disillusioned with the corruption and inefficiency they saw within both the Navy and the Advocacy, they envisioned a private military company (PMC) that could offer true protection — swift, uncompromising, and professional — to citizens and corporations navigating the increasingly dangerous and lawless frontiers of known space.
The name “Iron Sky” symbolized their core principle: an unbreakable shield over those they vowed to protect.
Initially operating out of a decommissioned orbital platform in the Ferron system, Iron Sky Security specialized in convoy escort, anti-piracy operations, and corporate asset protection. Early contracts were primarily local, securing shipping lanes ravaged by Nine Tails raids and Vanduul incursions.
Rise to Prominence (2947 – 2950)
Throughout the 2940s, Iron Sky earned a reputation for discipline, cutting-edge tactics, and uncompromising resolve. They gained major contracts protecting terraforming operations on remote worlds and safeguarding scientific expeditions deep into uncharted sectors. Their fleet expanded to include a variety of ships, from fast-attack Gladius wings to heavily armed Hammerheads and Carracks retrofitted for combat reconnaissance.
By 2950, Iron Sky Security had formalized a strict internal code: no involvement in slavery, no participation in unlawful planetary seizures, and no tolerance for corruption within their ranks. This ethical stance distinguished them from other PMCs like BlacJac or Goliath Interstellar, attracting high-value clients like Shubin Interstellar and various Senate members needing discreet but lawful protection.
The Tevarin Reunification Wars (2950 – 2955)
During the Tevarin Reunification Wars, Iron Sky Security took a controversial stand by providing security for both Tevarin and Human settlements that wanted to maintain peace. Though criticized by some xenophobic factions, Iron Sky’s role in protecting vulnerable civilians — regardless of species — further enhanced its reputation as a principled and highly skilled organization.
These operations earned Iron Sky a prestigious UEE Civilian Commendation in 2956, a rare honor for a PMC.
Modern Era and Black Sky Initiatives (2960 – Present)
Today, Iron Sky Security operates across dozens of systems, from Terra to Pyro (unofficially). Their services range from tactical fleet deployment to counter-espionage and corporate asset retrieval. In recent years, Iron Sky has begun developing its “Black Sky Initiatives” — classified operations deep into unstable regions like Pyro and Taranis, where diplomacy and firepower must work hand-in-hand to secure critical interests.
Iron Sky Security’s emblem — a stark, metallic shield emblazoned with a clouded sky and a cratered moon — serves as a reminder: they guard those who sail under iron skies, no matter how dark the stars may become.
In the cold, merciless dark of space, there are no second chances.
There is no shield but the one you forge.
No law but the one you enforce.
No salvation but the one you build with your own hands.
We are Iron Sky Security.
We are the sword and shield between civilization and chaos.
We are the line drawn in the void, where pirates, raiders, and tyrants are stopped — and turned back.
We were founded not for glory.
Not for conquest.
But for duty.
Because we have seen what happens when those entrusted to protect falter. We have seen the cost of hesitation, the cost of corruption, the cost of complacency.
We vowed never to repeat those mistakes.
We serve without compromise.
We defend without hesitation.
We strike without fear.
We believe security is not a privilege for the few — it is a necessity for all.
We protect the honest merchant, the pioneering settler, the bold explorer, and the sovereign citizen who dares to reach for new worlds.
We do not bend to political whims.
We do not traffic in oppression.
We do not answer to tyrants or slavers.
We are loyal only to our contract, our creed, and the sacred trust placed in us.
In Iron Sky Security, discipline is our armor.
Honor is our blade.
Unity is our fuel.
Each member swears an oath — not to the highest bidder, but to the highest standard.
Each member stands ready to face the storm, not with hope of reward, but with the pride of the unbreakable.
We will patrol the dark where UEE patrols have thinned.
We will shield the unarmed when others turn a blind eye.
We will carry the iron sky overhead — and nothing shall pass.
There will be no safe haven for those who prey upon the weak.
There will be no dark corner untouched by the reach of our vigilance.
There will be no battle fought without purpose, without honor, without victory.
We are the Iron Sky.
We endure.
We prevail.
We protect.
Join us, or stand aside.
