Welcome, rogues of the galaxy. Here, should you join us, you will find the key to success. Achieve the glory and riches you desire with the support of allies at your side. The lone wolf will soon find himself dead, but the Iron Star will never be broken. Join the Alliance and do not falter.

History

Originally a private military corporation operating near frontier systems of human space, the modern IronStar Alliance was born in the middle of the Messer Era. The rapid expansion of the empire soon ensured that the previously defenseless system in which the corporation operated now controlled a nearly unstoppable naval force of its own, and the alliance became redundant and nearly crumbled into bankruptcy.

The CEO at the time, Tiberian Mikovich, rallied the most loyal officers into the new IronStar Alliance in order not only to preserve their livelihoods but to keep alive the well-known name of the organization. Initially, the group was intended to be what is essentially a mercenary union. Independent military contractors who were a part of the alliance could be guaranteed a safety net as well as trusted allies who they could work with on jobs.

When the notoriously ruthless mercenary Kagaya York stepped into power as leader of the alliance it began coalescing into a more organized group. As the Messer Era drew to a close, the IronStar Alliance was more akin to a private military once again. The difference was that this time it fought only for itself. The IronStar Alliance over the past centuries has become a name synonymous with an independent lifestyle, free from the bounds of law and order. Members of the now well-funded mercenary group take part in trades that vary from piracy to business, both legitimate and illegitimate.

Despite this transformation, however, the IronStar Alliance is not as ruthless as some other such groups. Although there are few actions outside of its scope of consideration, it does not seek destruction, chaos, nor a grand criminal empire. At its core, the Alliance is a band of tightly-knit brethren who simply seek to live life their own way, although this often can come at the cost of life and livelihood of innocents.

Manifesto

The IronStar Alliance’s goals follow a simple set of ideas. Camaraderie, freedom, and a disregard for established law. Our entire purpose is to allow our members to live a life away from the considerations of UEE law, and instead to live their lives in what manner they wish. However, it’s important to make it clear that we are not a pirate gang. We do not make it our core principal to steal and plunder and end the lives of those who have done nothing to us. On the other hand, we have no particular qualms if you have found something that you would like to plunder.

What you get as part of the alliance is a tightly-knit group of brethren who are a part of the alliance for the exact reason that you are, and together you are able to make more of that goal. It is, after all, an important part of our motto:

The lone wolf dies alone. The Iron Star will never be broken.

Don’t be the lone wolf. Join the Iron Star and become a part of an experienced and motivated group, and always know that whatever may happen you have those who will stand by your side.

Though, keep in mind, that not just anybody gets to have the perks of being a member of the alliance. Don’t expect to just walk in and suddenly receive all the protection and instant trust that comes with being a true brother or sister. All this must be earned. If you are not willing to do this, then you will be safer fighting against us than trying to join us. We don’t take kindly to those who try to abuse what we stand for purely for their own gains at our expense.

Our Principles and Goals

Quality over Quantity

We’re not looking to pad our numbers. We firmly believe that a half dozen mature, friendly, and supportive members are far superior to a hundred rude screaming kamikazes. Becoming a positive member of our burgeoning community is as important, if not more so, than piloting skill. We’re looking for people who are serious when it’s needed but can relax when the time is right. To borrow the motto of a well-known ArmA group, we want to encourage “Serious Fun”. Above all, we want people who will bring a mature, friendly, and helpful attitude with them, as well as a desire not only to improve themselves but the community around them!

Forging a Community

We want to do more than just run a Star Citizen organization. We want to create a group of people who can call each other friends and can trust each other without question both in and out of the game. We want to encourage people to get to know their fellow group members and

Joining Us

Step 1: Apply!

The first step to joining the IronStar Alliance is simply to send us a message: go ahead and submit an application telling us what it is about what we promise that appeals to you and we’ll approve it as soon as possible!

Step 2: Prove Yourself

Because such a large part of the way we operate is based on mutual trust, the best way to fulfill this goal is simply to engage in the community. Have a positive attitude and work to keep the friendly atmosphere that we want to have in our group. We welcome all new members warmly and hopefully it won’t be long before you feel like a true member of the family!

Members must give to get in the Alliance, joining the Alliance does not grant protection or the support of the IronStar. One must prove themselves to the Alliance to earn the right to bare the IronStar on their name. Once proven the IronStar will support its brothers as a highly effective and self serving unit.
