Killa Maw Records is a Pyro-based, artist-first music label. We sign creators across the ‘verse with fair deals, full transparency, and real support. No exploit contracts. No corporate chains. Built in the black. Artists first. Always.
History
(KMAW is an RP Org, each member is treated as an individual recording artist who creates music within the Star Citizen universe. The only rule is that members must produce music under the label that you upload to your own YT chan or Spotify. Usually this is AI generated, I personally use Suno. No money is involved it is all just for fun and to see what we can create together.)
Killa Maw Records was founded in Pyro by Drexl Spivey after witnessing the systemic exploitation of artists by major record labels operating out of Stanton. Talented musicians were signing contracts that stripped them of their rights, their profits, and their independence, leaving them stranded once the labels had taken everything of value.
Determined to build something different, Drexl established Killa Maw Records on a simple principle: artists come first.
Operating from Pyro allowed the label to grow outside corporate control. Free from UEE-aligned bureaucracy and predatory executives, Killa Maw developed its own model — transparent agreements, fair profit splits, and full artist ownership. In return, the label provides real support: promotion, logistics, transport, equipment, and protection when required.
Early on, Killa Maw Records became known for signing raw, uncompromising talent from across the ‘verse — pilots, station performers, outlaw crews, and independent creators who had been overlooked or burned by traditional labels. Word spread quickly. Artists talked, and loyalty followed.
Today, Killa Maw Records continues to expand across multiple systems, maintaining its independence while building a reputation for integrity in an industry known for exploitation. Forged in Pyro and driven by respect, the label stands as proof that success in the black doesn’t require selling out the people who create it.

Killa Maw Records exists to restore balance between art and profit. In an industry dominated by corporate greed, predatory contracts, and disposable talent, we stand for transparency, ownership, and respect. Artists are not commodities. They are partners.
Operating beyond the reach of traditional power structures, we choose independence over convenience and fairness over control. We believe success is strongest when it is shared, loyalty is earned through action, and reputation matters more than credits.
Killa Maw Records will never build its legacy on the backs of its artists. We rise together, or not at all.

Commitments

Conduct
Members and affiliates of Killa Maw Records are expected to act with respect, loyalty, and accountability. Exploitation, internal corruption, or abuse of position will not be tolerated.
Authority
Final operational authority rests with the CEO of Killa Maw Records. All decisions are guided by the Manifesto and the principle that artists come first.
