History
Founded in 2945 by Mason Drexel and originally operating as a smuggling operation under the name Drexel Industries, the corporation was rebranded in 2947 after Mason acquired an Aegis Reclaimer class industrial salvaging vessel and partnered with a combat fighter-pilot, call-sign “TdogNC”. From their first operations, the two quickly expanded into Heavy Cargo Transportation and Mining, and hired on new pilots to fill the growing roster.
Manifesto
LAERA excels at fringe space industrial operations, active on the borders of UEE space where many others dare not venture. Primarily a resource procurement enterprise, we pride ourselves in being efficient, and self-sufficient with our own compliment of exploration, repair, and defensive combat pilots.
Charter
LAERA is a corporation founded by pilots and run by pilots. The UEE border-zone is a dangerous place and the lives of our members and ships come first. Hurston and ArcCorp may care more about their profits than people but we do not. As such, the three laws of LAERA are simple.
1.) Never agress unless first agressed.
2.) Fellow corporation members are your family, you stand with them and they with you.
3.) Priorities are in this order. The lives of your crew, your life, your ship, your profit.
