Legion Vaus rises where others fall. The Undying Mercenaries take on the toughest contracts with discipline, loyalty, and grit. If you want purpose, challenge, and a unit that never breaks, step forward and join the Legion.
Born in the aftermath of the Messer Era, Legion Varus began as a fractured band of veterans and outlaws—pilots who refused to bend to corrupt command or corporate greed. They were survivors of failed contracts, forgotten wars, and broken promises. What united them wasn’t ideology, but endurance.
Operating first from derelict stations in the Pyro system, the Legion earned its name after the Varus Conflict—a brutal campaign where the group held a collapsing front for nine days without reinforcements. When the dust settled, every mercenary was presumed dead. Weeks later, their ships re‑appeared, scarred but operational. From that moment, they were called the Undying Mercenaries.
Over decades, Legion Varus evolved from a ragtag outfit into a disciplined, contract‑driven force. They became known for precision strikes, extraction missions, and high‑risk operations in lawless space. Their wolf‑head insignia symbolises loyalty, ferocity, and survival—the pack that never dies.
Today, Legion Varus operates across UEE and frontier systems, maintaining neutrality between factions. They fight for credits, honour, and the legacy of those who refused to fall. In the chaos of the ‘verse, their creed remains simple:
“We endure. We strike. We return.”
We are Legion Varus.
We are the Undying Mercenaries.
We do not kneel to empires, corporations, or false crowns.
We fight for the contract, the brotherhood, and the code that binds us.
In the void between stars, loyalty is rarer than oxygen.
We earn ours through fire, steel, and blood.
Every ship that bears our mark carries the weight of those who came before—pilots who refused surrender, soldiers who stood when the universe turned its back.
We are not heroes.
We are survivors.
We are the blade that cuts through chaos, the shield that guards our own, and the wolf that hunts in the dark.
Our creed is simple:
Endure. Strike. Return.
No matter the odds, no matter the cost, Legion Varus stands unbroken.
