The Litany of Iron is more than an organization—it is a creed. Begin as a Steelborn Initiate, rise through the Imperial Army, be chosen for a Chapter House, ascend as a High Lord, or stand immortal in the High Custodian Guard. The Litany does not ask. It commands.

History

HISTORY OF THE LITANY OF IRON

“The Empire did not die in a single night — it faded, forgotten by those it once protected.”

The great Empire that once united humanity has long since fallen.
Its fleets lie silent, its armies scattered to dust, its forges cold and broken.
When the Empire fell, the stars themselves grew quiet — centuries of silence followed,
where duty, honor, and faith became nothing but memory.

Yet in that silence… came the whispers.
Rumors of banners seen on forgotten worlds, of soldiers still reciting the old oaths,
of the Litany of Iron stirring once more.

Now, the Empire’s return is no longer a legend — it is a choice.
The future of the Creed, the fate of the Empire, the next verse of the Litany…
will be written by those who still believe.

The story continues — and its ending is yours to forge.

Manifesto

“Stand among the Iron, and your name will echo through the stars.”

A Place for Every Warrior

Whether you are a fresh recruit taking your first steps into the Verse, or a veteran of countless battles — there is a place for you within the Litany of Iron.
Casual explorer, disciplined soldier, or ambitious commander — all find purpose here. The Litany of Iron is not merely an organization; it is a living empire reborn, forged by its members and shaped by their actions.

Here, your time and effort matter. Every operation, escort, salvage run, or campaign strengthens the Empire’s reach and earns honor for you and your comrades. You are not a background name on a roster — you are a verse-faring legionary of a rising Imperium.

The Imperial Army – Strength in Unity

The Imperial Army is the iron heart of our crusades — disciplined formations, armored divisions, and ground forces that carry the Emperor’s will across the stars.
Army units earn commendations, campaign seals, and battle honors for their victories and service. These awards are pinned to their banners — visual marks of glory that tell the story of their service.
To serve in the Army is to join a brotherhood of steel and conviction, where every victory is shared, and every name recorded in the Codex of Iron.

The Imperial Navy – The Fallen Beacon

Once, the Imperial Navy was the pride of the Empire — a shining beacon of might and authority that ruled the void with entire battle fleets. Its ships bore the Emperor’s sigil across countless stars, enforcing peace through power and precision.
But when the Empire fell, so too did its fleets. Many were destroyed in the final sieges, others abandoned to the cold dark of the void, their wrecks still adrift as silent tombs of our former glory.

Now, in this age of reawakening, the Navy stirs once more.
The great ship forges lie dormant, and our numbers are too few to rebuild the mighty armadas of old. Thus, the Navy now operates under the command of the Imperial Army, fielding fast-attack craft, escorts, and strike vessels to spearhead planetary assaults, secure convoys, and hunt the Empire’s foes across the stars.
Every ship reclaimed, every hull reforged, brings us one step closer to restoring the fleets that once lit the heavens with iron fire.

The Chapters – The Iron Orders

While the Army marches in unity, the Chapters stand as proud, independent Orders within the Empire.
Each Chapter is player-created and player-led, defining its own colors, armor schemes, hierarchy, and identity.
They maintain independent communications, forge custom banners, and bear their own guidons — symbols of their lineage and deeds.
These banners are not mere decoration: they grow alongside their Chapter, adorned with purity seals, crusade badges, and battle commendations earned through campaigns and joint operations.

A Chapter’s banner is its legacy — a living record of its triumphs, its fallen, and the iron faith of its warriors.

Your Path Forward

Whether you enlist in the Imperial Army, serve within the rebuilding Navy, rise through a Chapter, or aspire to join the Lords of Iron — your progress, honors, and deeds will be recorded in your Imperial Identification Codex.
Every seal, every campaign mark, and every commendation becomes part of your service record — proof that you stood among the faithful and fought for the rebirth of the Empire.

Praise the Iron.
