History
Founded in 2936 by Colton Harrigan; an honorably discharged UEE Marine in the wake of the Walzer Massacre. Lady Luck Logistics (LLLOG) started from the rear ramp of a rundown inherited Freelancer cargo vessel aboard the Everus Harbor station as a transport broker with ties to the UEE. The amateur brokerage earned enough to fix up the Freelancer “Lady Luck” and earned enough reputation with the locals to begin port authority runs from Everus Harbor to Loreville on Hurston.
- In 2938 the Lady Luck organization grew in size as Harrigan charmed three ex-service members into buying into a commercial license and dedicated hangar space., moving from the crowded cargo hangars and into an permanent, but more importantly, official lease-hold.
- In 2940 Lady Luck Logistics had swelled through profiteering with back-channel UEE direction into a modest commercial fleet dedicated to resource storage and hauling. The back door dealings that Harrington was able to ply with old comrades still in the service saw the LLLOG net a couple of “off-book” jobs transporting black boxes out of Xi’an held space and through the Castra and Nyx systems. Harrigan was careful to never have hot boxes within the Stanton system.
- In 2945 LLLOG had come under the scrutinizing gaze of a prominent transport servicing guild and was given summons to attend a Trade Bureau hearing held on Earth in regards to corporate espionage perpetrated by seditious elements of he UEE that had in-direct ties to the LLLOG. Shoddy book keeping had resulted in an unfortunate situation where the Lady Luck was registered as a go-between on a cargo manifest that was flagged as holding alien contraband. Enroute to the proceedings to determine if the cargo manifest had ever actually manifested in the portage of the LLLOG, the Vanduul attacked Vega, and the organization found itself seconded to relief efforts and whisked away from the clutches of the Trade Bureau.
- In 2946 the Lady Luck and its fleet of commercial venture ships signed with the Cargo Handler Association to deliver donated aid from the Cargolympics event run by Torreele Foodstuffs during Operation Solace. Using the humanitarian event to restart their unscrupulous antics of hot-box running under the eyes of UEE vessels led to a profit hike that threatened to swell the companies book keepers into madness.
- In 2947 several key events unfolded that secured the Lady Luck Logistics company as a premier name amongst inter system commercial flight. The MISC Prospector was unveiled and the organization immediately began purchasing multiple chassis to offset their tariff and bribe financial bleed with resource income that could be sold directly to the refinery several levels below their commercial hangar space; this further cemented the companies presence on Everus Harbor. Later that year the military corvette Polaris from RSI was announced and Harrigan’s associates greased many palms in the post Vanduul “chain of saviors” to have a bare bones chassis be unaccounted for and rendered to spare parts for outfitting service ships. That chassis found its way into a privately owned storage station in the Castra system. The ultimate event that secured the companies future in staying firmly out of the Trade Bureaus clutches was the official declaration of the Human-Xi’an Trade Initiative that legitimized the companies black-box running through the Castra and Nyx systems.
In the present day the Lady Luck Logistics company is preparing to uproot its blossoming commercial empire from the Stanton system and move itself closer to its direct financial haulage source in the Castra system. The organization has found itself the home of politically disgruntled ex-service personnel and fierce independents from Nyx. The future is bright with the promise of enterprise, reputation, and above all, credits.

Charter
Company Policy:
- Keep it simple: Stick to your contracted route. All off-route excursions whilst under contract must be documented. Fuel/Repair costs will be deducted from over contract payout unless covered explicitly in terms of service.
- Keep it stupid: No questions means no questions. If your assessor hands you a contract to move sealed cargo from point A to point B then you hold that as the law above laws. Our job is not to know about what’s in your box, simply to move it and get paid.
- 10% collective fee of all haulage profits under contract to the LLLOG to be deposited into the company coffer for upkeep costs due at annual re-signing of employment contract on January 1st. (If signed within 1 month prior or post annual 1/1 Fee date, you are exempt from upkeep fee).
Inter-Company Conduct:
- No Discrimination tolerated. We are who we are but together we are something more. Any deviation from this core commandment will result in immediate dismissal.
- No unauthorized personnel inside company or sub-let company holdings. No guys, no girls, no bar pick ups. None. Any deviation from this core commandment will result in immediate dismissal.
- No personal venture commitment. When you are on an LLLOG contract that is the purpose of your every waking breath. No errands, no unauthorized pit stops, no short cuts. All details about your contract are pre-planned, you just do the flying. Straight and true, right through to payout.
A Note from the Founder:
Here at Lady Luck Logistics we care about you and your wellbeing when on company time. What you chose to do in your own personal time is not our business. Don’t make it ours.
