Want to make a living turning wrenches? It has been stated that repair in Star Citizen will be like Car Mechanic Simulator(see video below). This is a network for repair minded Citizens to find work doing what they love. let’s make repair a full time job!
History
I am really pumped about the repair mechanic in Star Citizen. So I woke up one morning and made this Org. Go to Manifesto for the real meat of it.
Manifesto
You are here because you are interested in repair. My main goal is to find work for us. Not much is known about the repair system yet but, it will be in high demand. How many times do you hit an asteroid in Arena Commander? This will be happening all the time in the PU, among other things.
Operations will include:
Basic repair missions
Repair contracts for larger orgs
Taking downed or stolen ships to our chop shop and parting it out
The key here is that, this will be an open network to all technicians for keeping everyone active.
Charter
There are no real rules or expectations here. You can be as good or bad as you want. The main thing that unites us is the wrench. There are no ranks. Everyone is a Technician
