History Manifesto Charter

History

The Manthis Bounty Hunter Association was funded in the year 2544, following the formation of the United Planets of Earth (UPE). With the need to provide security to the ever growing UPE, The Manthis Association was formed for just that, to provide extra security for the right pay.

For almost 200 years ,The Manthis was mostly a small band of brother’s at arms, ex-security, ex-military and thugs looking for a better pay for the particular set of skills they had. The Manthis band of ruthless fighters was mostly seen with suspicion as a shady organization, that all it’s business required violence and brutality, that mind-set would eventually change in the following years.

The Manthis Association’s golden age was during the year’s 2756 ( 75 years after the 1st Vanduul raid ) and the year 2940. During this period, with the war against the Xi’an Empire, the Vanduul raids and the Empire’s lavish spending, the UEE’s army was spread thin, at this time, the UEE’s popularity was on an all-time low and everyday more and more citizens took to piracy and crime. With the constant harass on the trade routes, suddenly The Manthis Bounty Hunter Association and other similar organizations became legit, a necessary existence to keep the trash in-check, and with it came the credits. The amount of credits made during those years was so much it made many a man rich beyond their wildest dreams.

Eventually things came to a halt, with an uneasy peace brokered with the Xi’an Empire in the year 2789 and with the election of Kelos Costigan as the new UEE Imperator, the systems under the UEE influence are until today in relative safety, during this time many members of The Manthis left, given the scarcity of jobs, to live in luxury with their new earned fortunes.

Yet things are heating up! The Vanduul are becoming bold, increasing their raids and choosing far more dangerous targets for their hit-and-run attacks and the threat of piracy as yet not been purged, with trade routes being harassed on the farthest of corners in the UEE. Once more the need for The Manthis Bounty Hunter Association’s services as come! So if you want to join us, to live by fighting at a tremendous profit and you think yourself the best, you know where to find us.

Manifesto

With tensions growing across UEE, the scourge of piracy is once again becoming a threat to the Empire. The new wave of traders across the Empire’s territories has given a lot of opportunities. To deal with the rise of these pests, you need the best pilots and that’s where we come in. The Manthis Bounty Hunter Association is here to purge!

Do You Even Belong Here?

We here in the Association deal primarily with Bounty Hunting, the most enjoyable task to do if you have the skills. Furthermore we provide escort services for cargo ships in need of some extra security and assistance to the UEE in dealing with any threats against the sovereignty of the Empire

What Do You Stand To Gain

  • Most importantly, you will have access to a reliable network of information necessary for the livelihood of any successful Bounty Hunter. The network itself will be comprised of helpful, perhaps friendly allies, we enforce respect between allies but allow use of mature language to solve any or whatever dispute.
  • Space Superiority. With Expertise, Discipline, Leadership and well trained military and mercenary units, we will maintain the highest levels of readiness for combat and ensure secure shipping lanes. The pirates will never have peace!

Our Ultimate Goal

To bring an end to every enemy, alien or man, of the great United Earth Empire! We will partake whenever necessary in missions with the UEE navy to ensure safety in our Empire.

To establish a fortune from Bounty Hunting across the galaxy. No criminal can expect to be free consequences and we will ensure they understand that.

To establish the safest trade routes. Where The Manthis Association is, there is no piracy, only safe profitable business.

Charter

Rules Among Operatives.

Basic Rules

  • Try to be a decent human being. Mature language is allowed among operatives.
  • To ensure a reliable network among the Association, be helpful!. If asked for information that is not classified you will be expected to provide assistance.
    *Classified information is to remain classified!
  • If a leader if appointed to any specific situation, you are expected to listen and follow their lead, counsel is of course permitted.
  • There is a ranking system among the Association for a reason, although we employ a laid back chain of command, you are never to undermine the authority of a ranking member appointed as your superior.
  • If any problems or doubts regarding the Chain of Command or with any particular operatives in the Association arise, please contact a superior ranking member.
  • Squadron Rules and Guidelines*
  • All members, at any given moment, represent our Association and must represent the appropriate tags and icons.
  • When you enter the Manthis Bounty Hunter Association you are prohibited from being a main member in another fleet.
  • Piracy is not tolerated, obviously.
  • No member is allowed to engage any allied forces (even with a bounty).
  • Any kind of cheating will be a reason for a ban from the Association.
  • When designated to a squadron, members are expected to follow the Chain of Command

Membership

The Manthis Bounty Hunter Association Must always be your main (exceptions may apply)
  • If you switch The Association to affiliation without having approval, you will be warned and if the status does not change you will be kicked.
  • You must redact your Association membership, member’s privacy is important to us.
  • All is subject to change as the game progresses
