History

In a distant future where humanity has conquered the stars, lived a man named Sakuranosuke Jirō Kyōraku. He was born in Fujin City (風神都) the capital city of Saisei (Centauri III) . It is one of the most verdant cities in the UEE.

Once a respected samurai who traveled the galaxies in a majestic spaceship, the Blade of the Stars. His life was characterized by honor, discipline and the pursuit of justice. But fate had other plans for him.

One day, his home system was invaded by a ruthless criminal organization that wanted to take control of the intergalactic trade routes. Kyōraku fought bravely, but the enemy’s superior numbers were overwhelming. In a desperate attempt to save his people, he confronted the organization, but he was betrayed. His allies, whom he believed to be loyal, turned against him and he was cast out as a ronin, a masterless samurai.

Outcast and without honor, Kyōraku found himself in the dark corners of space. He vowed to fight the criminals who had destroyed his life and that of his family. With his trusty spaceship, which he now called “Senbonzakura”, he roamed the galaxy and became a feared shadow in the universe. He fought crime mercilessly, without regard for his own life.

Kyōraku developed his own form of justice, inspired by ancient samurai traditions but adapted to the harsh realities of space. He used his sword fighting skills and strategic mindset to infiltrate crime gangs and dismantle them from within. His reputation as a ruthless fighter spread quickly, and criminals feared the name Metsuke.

Despite his merciless methods, Kyōraku carried the burden of his past with him. He sought not only revenge, but also a way to restore his honor. In the vastness of space, he found allies who supported his mission, and together they fought against the injustice that threatened the galaxy.
This is how Kyōraku, the ronin in space, lived a life between light and shadow, in search of redemption and the hope of one day regaining the honor of a samurai.

Manifesto

Sakuranosuke Jirō Kyōraku, from his darkness, he reshaped himself and became a symbol of resistance against crime.

  • Honor and betrayal: Kyōraku lived by the principles of Bushido, but when his homeland was invaded by a ruthless criminal organization, he experienced the painful betrayal of his former allies. This teaches us that honor lies not only in the loyalty of others, but also in one’s own determination to fight for what is right, even when one is alone.
  • The way of the ronin: From the ashes of his defeat, Kyōraku rose as a ronin, a master without a master. He taught us that even in the deepest despair, the will to change and the fight against injustice must not be extinguished. His ship, the “Senbonzakura”, became the symbol of his new destiny – an instrument of change and justice.
  • Justice in space: Kyōraku developed his own form of justice, combining the ancient traditions of the samurai with the harsh realities of intergalactic life. He showed us that the fight against crime can be fought not only with the sword, but also with reason and strategy. His name, Metsuke, became the terror of criminals and the hope of the oppressed.
  • The search for redemption: Despite his merciless methods, Kyōraku carried the burden of his past with him. His quest for revenge was inextricably linked to his desire to restore his honor. This reminds us that the path to redemption often leads through confrontation with one’s own demons.
  • Fellowship in battle: In the vastness of space, Kyōraku found allies who supported his mission. Together they fought against the injustice that threatened the galaxy. This teaches us that the fight for good does not have to be fought alone; solidarity and community are crucial to bringing about change.
  • The story of Sakuranosuke Jirō Kyōraku – Metsuke is a tale of light and shadow, of loss and hope.
It inspires us not to give up in times of darkness, to fight for our beliefs and to find the honor within ourselves. May his legacy remind us that each of us has the power to be a ronin in our own lives – a fighter for justice and a seeker of redemption.
