The Founding of Mithrilmark Resource & Recovery

Mithrilmark Resource & Recovery did not begin in a boardroom, behind a polished counter, or with a fleet of corporate vessels waiting under showroom lights.

It began where most honest work in the verse begins: among fractured stone, scarred hulls, empty fuel gauges, and pilots trying to make something worthwhile out of a hard day’s work.

Zantaryn and CrouchinTyger had each spent enough time in the industrial lanes of the verse to recognize a simple truth: resources are only valuable when someone is willing to do the work to bring them home, and recovery only matters when someone is willing to answer the call.

There was always another pilot looking for ore without the time to mine it. Another crew needing RMC before damaged armor became an expensive lesson. Another buyer searching for a particular gem without wanting to test whether the local wildlife considered them a meal, a toy, or both. And somewhere beyond the shipping lanes, there was always a stranded ship waiting for fuel, repair support, or a tow back to safety.

What began as two pilots helping where they could slowly became something more deliberate. Mining runs became supply orders. Salvage work became a source of valuable materials. Recovery assistance became a promise: if Mithrilmark accepted the contract, the work would be handled properly.

The name Mithrilmark was chosen for what it represented.

In old stories, mithril was not prized simply because it was rare. It was valued because it was strong, refined, and trusted when ordinary metal would fail. The mark was just as important: a craftsman’s seal, placed upon work worthy of their name.

That became the foundation of the company.

Mithrilmark would not be measured only by what it extracted, recovered, repaired, refueled, or delivered. It would be measured by the standard behind the work. Every load of ore, every quantity of RMC, every recovered component, every fuel delivery, and every ship pulled out of the dark would carry the same promise: the job would be treated with care, honesty, and professional pride.

Today, Mithrilmark Resource & Recovery operates as an independent industrial service built around two principles: value should never be wasted, and no good pilot should be left stranded when the tools exist to help them.

MithrilMark Resource & Recovery was founded on a simple belief: value should never be wasted, honest work should be respected, and no pilot should be left without support when skill, equipment, and determination can bring them home.

We are an independent industrial service organization built around resource acquisition, salvage, recovery, and field support. From mineral-rich asteroids and valuable gem deposits to damaged hulls, abandoned wreckage, stranded vessels, and empty fuel tanks, MithrilMark exists to provide dependable solutions for pilots, crews, allies, and organizations across the verse.

Our work begins with resources. We mine requested ore, recover valuable gems, provide refined materials when available, and reclaim useful goods from salvage opportunities, including RMC, components, and ship weaponry when contract conditions permit. We understand that every successful operation, repair effort, and fleet deployment begins with the materials needed to make it possible.

Our work continues through recovery. A ship without fuel, repairs, or the means to return home is more than an inconvenience; it is a pilot separated from their mission. Through towing, refueling, repair support, and recovery assistance, MithrilMark is committed to helping others remain operational, prepared, and moving forward.

We do not define quality by the size of a haul or the value of a contract alone. We define it by reliability, communication, fair dealing, and pride in the work completed. Every order accepted and every service performed represents our name. Charter

MithrilMark Resource & Recovery is founded upon professional service, fair dealing, reliable support, and respect for all who operate alongside us. Every member represents the MithrilMark name through their actions, their communication, and the quality of the work they provide.

This Charter establishes the public standards expected of all members of MithrilMark Resource & Recovery.

I. Our Standard

MithrilMark exists to provide dependable industrial and recovery services throughout the verse, including mining, refining support, salvage recovery, material supply, towing, refueling, repair assistance, and related logistical operations.

Members shall conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the MithrilMark name. Our reputation is built not only on what we deliver, but on how we treat those who place their trust in us.

Members are expected to demonstrate:

Professionalism in all business and operational dealings.
Respect toward Forge Patrons, allies, organizations, and fellow members.
Honesty regarding availability, pricing, risk, and service limitations.
Reliability in accepted contracts and agreed-upon commitments.
Pride in the quality of service performed under the MithrilMark banner.

II. Forge Patrons and Contracted Services

Those who place orders or request services through MithrilMark are recognized as Forge Patrons. They are to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

When dealing with Forge Patrons, members shall:

Communicate clearly regarding the requested service, expected availability, delivery arrangements, and agreed cost.
Negotiate rates fairly and in good faith based on the request, risk, distance, resource availability, and service requirements.
Avoid making promises that cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
Make clear when salvaged ship parts, weapons, components, or other recovered goods depend upon contract availability and wreck conditions.
Respect a Forge Patron’s cargo, property, ship, hangar, and personal boundaries during any delivery, refueling, towing, or repair-related interaction.
Complete accepted work to the best of their ability and provide timely updates when delays or complications arise.

Forge Patrons are likewise expected to communicate in good faith, honor agreed arrangements, and treat MithrilMark personnel with respect. Contracts may be cancelled when communication fails, terms are broken, unsafe conduct occurs, or continued service is no longer reasonable.

III. Allies and Partner Organizations

MithrilMark values reliable partnerships and intends to build strong working relationships with allied individuals and organizations.

When operating with allies, members shall:

Treat allied personnel as respected partners.
Honor agreed discounts, cooperative arrangements, and mutual support commitments when applicable.
Communicate honestly regarding capability, timelines, availability, and operational risk.
Avoid conduct that damages trust between MithrilMark and its partners.
Assist in good faith during approved cooperative mining, salvage, recovery, refueling, repair, or logistical operations.
Respect the command structure, rules, property, and operational boundaries of allied organizations while working alongside them.

An alliance is more than a discount or shared contract. It is a relationship built on trust, communication, and the understanding that reliable support strengthens everyone involved.

IV. Operational Integrity

MithrilMark members are expected to approach every operation with care, preparation, and accountability.

Members shall:

Operate safely and responsibly during mining, salvage, towing, refueling, repair, cargo handling, and delivery activities.
Maintain clear communication during joint operations and service contracts.
Respect agreed mission objectives and avoid unnecessary actions that jeopardize personnel, cargo, equipment, or customer property.
Accurately represent recovered materials, salvage goods, ore orders, and service outcomes.
Never misrepresent an item’s availability, origin, condition, or value for personal gain.
Inform leadership or involved parties when a contract cannot be completed as originally agreed.

No member shall use the MithrilMark name to deceive, exploit, threaten, scam, grief, or intentionally endanger another player.

V. Internal Conduct and Professionalism

MithrilMark is intended to be a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable organization. Members are expected to contribute to an environment where people can work together, enjoy the game, and participate without unnecessary conflict or hostility.

The following conduct is not permitted within MithrilMark spaces, operations, or communications conducted under the organization’s name:

Harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation, or targeted hostility.
Hate speech, slurs, discriminatory remarks, or demeaning conduct directed at any person or group.
Sexual harassment, unwanted advances, or inappropriate conduct toward members, Forge Patrons, or allies.
Threats, malicious personal attacks, or attempts to incite conflict.
Sharing another person’s private information without permission.
Political arguments, real-world ideological disputes, or inflammatory controversial topics that disrupt official MithrilMark spaces or operations.
Excessive drama, rumor spreading, or personal disputes that harm the organization or create an unwelcome environment.
Conduct that violates platform rules, game rules, Discord rules, or applicable community standards.

Members are free to have their own beliefs and opinions. However, MithrilMark spaces exist for community, operations, industry, service, and enjoyment of the game. Personal conflicts and divisive real-world disputes shall not be allowed to overtake that purpose.

VI. Representation of MithrilMark

Whether performing a contract, assisting an ally, speaking in public channels, or operating under the company banner, members represent MithrilMark Resource & Recovery.

Members shall not:

Use the organization’s name to start unnecessary conflict.
Publicly harass, insult, or provoke others while representing MithrilMark.
Make unauthorized commitments, alliances, promises, or business arrangements on behalf of the organization.
Damage the company’s reputation through dishonest, hostile, or unprofessional behavior.

Members are encouraged to be helpful, respectful, and professional in public interactions. A strong reputation is not claimed through advertisements alone; it is earned through consistent conduct.

VII. Leadership and Accountability

MithrilMark is overseen by its Markwardens, who are responsible for protecting the organization’s standards, managing approved services and partnerships, and addressing concerns involving members, Forge Patrons, or allies.

Concerns regarding conduct, contracts, harassment, disputes, or violations of this Charter should be reported to the Markwardens with as much relevant information as possible.

Depending on severity, violations may result in:

Verbal or written warning.
Removal from a contract or operation.
Restriction from MithrilMark services or spaces.
Removal from the organization.
Termination of an alliance or business relationship when necessary.

All matters will be reviewed as fairly and responsibly as circumstances allow. The purpose of accountability is not to create fear or unnecessary punishment, but to protect the people, trust, and reputation that MithrilMark is built upon.

VIII. The MithrilMark Promise
