“If They Stand Behind You, Give Them Protection. If They Stand Beside You, Give Them Respect. If They Stand In Front Of You, Give Them No Mercy!”
[UEX:314283]

THE BEGINNING — Founded on June 21st, 2951 by two friends with a shared drive for competition, improvement, and teamwork, the Midgardian Knights began small. There was no grand legacy behind the name yet. Just two people with a shared vision and the beginning of something they wanted to build together.
WHAT IT BECAME — As others joined, they brought their own skills, interests, personalities, and ideas with them. MK grew because of those people, gradually becoming more than what either founder could have created alone. The organization evolved with its members, but the importance of teamwork, improvement, and looking out for the people beside us remained at its core.
STILL BEING WRITTEN — Today, Midgardian Knights is the result of everyone who has helped shape it along the way and it continues to change as new people become part of that story. Our history isn’t something we simply look back on. We’re still making it.
Founded by two. Shaped by many. Still moving forward.

The Midgardian Knights are built around people who want to accomplish more together. Who aren’t afraid to find out where their limits are.
Skill matters to us, but so does the drive behind it. We don’t expect every member to arrive as an expert pilot, marksman, miner, engineer, or commander. We value people willing to learn, challenge themselves, accept when something didn’t work, and come back better prepared the next time.
We know what side of the line we stand on.
MK protects its own, backs its allies, honors its commitments, and takes fights for reasons that matter. We are not interested in making a name by bullying easy targets or turning every encounter into an excuse to open fire. There’s plenty of danger in the ’verse without manufacturing more of it.
But when the situation calls for a fight, we don’t intend to be spectators.
When a fight matters, we want to show up prepared, coordinated, and very difficult to ignore. We want to be the organization people are glad to see arrive when things go wrong and the one hostile crews learn not to underestimate.
Give your allies confidence. Give your enemies second thoughts.
There is no single way to be useful to MK.
Some members live for combat. Others prefer industry, logistics, exploration, medical support, engineering, cargo, scouting, or becoming exceptionally good at one particular role. Those differences are an advantage.
A capable organization isn’t built from everyone trying to do the same thing. It’s built from people who understand their own strengths, trust the strengths of the people beside them, and know how to bring those pieces together when there’s a job to do.
When MK operates as a group, the objective matters more than individual glory.
Your specialty matters because the person beside you specializes in something else.
That means testing your limits instead of staying permanently inside what is comfortable. It means taking the harder fight sometimes, trying a role you aren’t confident in yet, asking questions, accepting feedback, and learning from the spectacular disasters Star Citizen occasionally provides for educational purposes.
Failure isn’t something we need to hide from. It’s information.
Figure out what went wrong. Adjust. Train. Try again.
The best pilot in MK should still have something to learn. The newest member should have somewhere to grow. Experience carries value, but so do curiosity, persistence, and the determination to get better than you were yesterday.
We want people who push themselves. Who help the people around them improve along the way.
We don’t expect perfection. We expect the willingness to improve.
For all the ships, contracts, training, and operations, MK is ultimately built around people.
Some nights we’re running coordinated operations with assigned roles and disciplined comms. Other nights we’re sitting in Discord talking about absolutely nothing, trying another game, helping somebody with a problem, or discovering that someone was left unsupervised long enough to develop a plan.
We want to become an organization known for competence, reliability, and the ability to handle ourselves when things get difficult. But we also want MK to remain somewhere people genuinely want to spend their time.
Reputation matters.
So do the people who build it.
We don’t need everyone to arrive as the best. We want people who refuse to stop getting better.

The Midgardian Knights operate on a few straightforward principles. These standards protect our community, our reputation, and the name we carry together.
RESPECT — Treat members, allies, opponents, and the wider Star Citizen community with respect. Competitive gameplay is encouraged. Toxicity is not.
CONDUCT — MK does not engage in piracy, griefing, or deliberate attacks against neutral players without legitimate cause. We choose our fights with purpose.
DUTY — Members are free to pursue the parts of the ‘verse they enjoy. During organized MK operations, however, everyone is expected to work with the team, perform their role, and respect the established command and communications structure.
ACCOUNTABILITY — Rank, experience, and reputation do not excuse poor behavior. Own your mistakes, learn from them, and understand that your actions while representing MK affect more than just you.
UNITY — We succeed together. Support the people beside you, communicate openly, and handle disagreements directly and respectfully. When that isn’t possible, bring the issue to leadership rather than turning it into public drama.
GROWTH — Ask questions. Train. Teach what you know. Experiment. Help the people around you improve. Nobody arrives knowing everything.
The name beside yours represents more than one player. Make it one worth having.
