“The mission isn’t the contract. The mission is to keep our crew alive.” — Money, Commander of The Merchants

We’re a Private Military Company built on strategy, honor, and grit. Not pirates. Not pushovers. Protectors for hire—ruthless, loyal, and lethal.

History

History of The Merchants

Founded: Mid-2954
Origin: Stanton System

Born from a growing frustration with disorganized militias and greedy merc outfits, The Merchants were founded to bridge the gap between commerce and combat. What began as a small network of skilled pilots running supply routes under fire quickly evolved into a full-spectrum tactical unit—part escort service, part strike team, part economic powerhouse.

Early Days:
Led by Money, a former gambler-turned-strategist with a gift for turning risk into reward, the original crew forged their legacy by protecting traders, reclaiming stolen cargo, and executing surgical strikes on pirate bases that threatened independent haulers.

Growth(Current) Era:
The org soon expanded into bounty hunting and full-scale fleet operations. Tight crew dynamics, combat excellence, and an unshakable code of honor made them invaluable to high-paying clients—and feared by rivals.

We don’t fight for politics.
We fight for people.
And we get paid doing it.

Manifesto

In a universe fueled by greed and chaos, The Merchants stand for something greater.

Core Beliefs:
* • Honor Before Profit:*
We protect our crew and cargo above all. No payday is worth a fallen comrade.
We don’t grief. We don’t bully. But we strike first—and we strike hard.
* • Precision in Combat:*
We train for war. We act with discipline.
We execute with overwhelming force, regardless of the odds.
* • Freedom in Trade:*
We trade smart, we trade hard—and we protect every shipment like it’s our own lifeline.
Cargo in. Credits out. Every time.
* • Brotherhood in Fire:*
You don’t just wear the patch. You earn it.
When one Merchant moves, the whole unit shifts. We don’t leave our own behind.

Primary Activities:
* • Combat Ops (PvP/PvE):*
Convoy protection, bounty hunting, Idris takedowns, and zero-G boarding ops.
* • Strategic Trade & Hauling:*
Mid-to-large scale trade runs with full-escort support. The kind that turns a Freelancer into a fortress.
* • Private Security Contracts:*
From convoy defense to VIP extractions—we fight smart, finish clean, and always get paid.

Survival and solidarity are our true currency. • Job Completion Guaranteed: Whether it takes one try or a hundred, we finish what we start. • No Off-Duty Dishonor: Represent us with pride—always. Even outside the org, carry yourself with integrity. • Soft-Kill Ethic: We disable and board. No wanton destruction. We take control, not corpses. • Immersion With Freedom: Heavy RP is encouraged during missions; outside of them, RP is casual or optional—just don’t ruin the experience for others. • No Drama, No Politics: We don’t get involved in org rivalries or nonsense. We’re here for the mission, the money, and the crew. • Refuge With Structure: We are a home for freelancers, veterans, and drifters who want family without fragility—and structure without suffocation.

VII. Roleplay Expectations • In-Mission: Full RP tone encouraged. Use comms discipline, chain-of-command protocol, and role-specific behavior. • Out-of-Mission: Casual RP or no RP is fine—just don’t ruin immersion for those who want it.

VIII. Roles Beyond Ranks • Contractors: Temporary allies who run ops with us under strict terms. Limited Discord access. • Clients: Those who hire us. Treated with respect—but not given internal privileges.

IX. Membership Requirements

To reach Master Merchant (Rank 1): • 2 weeks of activity • 3+ org missions completed • Demonstrated respect for chain-of-command and RP tone

To progress beyond, you must apply once requirements are met—your service must be acknowledged by higher ranks.

X. Legacy & Alliances • We are building a legacy of firepower, brotherhood, and precision. • We operate independently—alliances are rare, and when they exist, we fight under our flag. • We don’t fight other people’s wars for free—and we don’t forget who tried to buy us.

Final Word from Command:

“If you want a place to belong, a crew that doesn’t quit, and a mission that matters—get in, sit down, and lock in.
You’re with The Merchants now.”
– Money, General of The Merchants
