History

The Founding and Lore:

The United Resource Workers (URW) represents the backbone of the empire’s labor force, but large unions need specialized, boots-on-the-ground operational units to handle high-yield projects. MRSG was chartered as a specialized, heavy-industrial division under the URW umbrella.
Instead of waiting for third-party contractors, MRSG was built to handle the entire lifecycle of raw materials: finding the veins, breaking the rock, stripping the hulls, refining the materials, and hauling the final product to the galactic market. They are the crews who arrive with heavy equipment and leave with empty fields and full cargo bays.

Moving away from solo ventures, the organization now specializes in massive, synchronized operations involving heavy haulers, specialized refiners, and deep-space salvagers working a single grid simultaneously.
## Core Divisions & Industrial Pillars
To maximize efficiency and keep the supply lines flowing without interruption, MRSG divides its personnel into three distinct, specialized industrial tracks: * The Extraction Core (Mining): Focused purely on resource yield. These crews specialize in high-tier material extraction (like Quantanium, Bexalite, and Taranite) using specialized fracturing and extraction lasers. They know exactly how to manage laser power levels to prevent catastrophic overcharges. * The Reclamation Wing (Salvage): The recycling masters. Operating platforms like the Reclaimer and Vulture, this wing specializes in hull scraping and structural fracturing, turning space debris and decommissioned hulls into valuable construction materials. * The Logistics & Supply Chain (Hauling): The lifeblood of the operation. Managing the massive Hull-series transport chains and heavy freight haulers, this division ensures that raw materials move from remote asteroid fields to refinery decks and major trade hubs without missing a single delivery window.
## The Standard Industrial Process (SIP)
When MRSG drops into a high-density resource field or a massive debris cloud, they operate like a well-oiled machine. Order of operations ensures that no material is wasted and cargo holds are filled with maximum efficiency.

Composition Scanning Phase 1: Survey Industrial scout vessels grid-search the area, utilizing long-range scanners to map material percentages, instability ratings, and total mass. They tag the highest-value clusters for the heavy crews. 2. Excavation & Fracturing Phase 2: Fracture The heavy mining and salvage platforms move in on the tagged coordinates. Mining lasers split the rock down to extractable sizes, while salvage beams break down structural frameworks into manageable scrap segments. 3. Cargo Emulsion & Moving Phase 3: Transfer As materials are collected, they are immediately offloaded or transferred via cargo grids to waiting heavy transport vessels. Keeping the extraction ships light allows them to stay on-grid and working continuously. 4. Refinery Logistics & Distribution Phase 4: Route The filled haulers depart for the nearest URW-approved refinery deck. Logistics specialists calculate optimum processing yields (such as choosing between Dinitrogen Solvents or Pyrometric Chrome refining methods) to maximize final market profits.

Core Beliefs:
At MRSG, we believe in free and clear industrial lanes. We support blue orgs in the acquisition of materials, crafting, and base building while at the same time providing a base of operations and money flow into our org to fully support our members.

Playstyle:
Our playstyle is determined as regular. We also plan on running ops during evenings EST times. We also plan on running 2 to 3 ops per week. If you can accommodate one or two a week, please join the org on the RSI page as well. We do not play by specific roles at this time but will have a structure set in place for 1.0.

The Meridian Resource and Supply Group (MRSG) is an industrial fleet collective operating in strict alignment with the United Resource Workers (URW) guild. We reject predatory corporate exploitation that leaves crews broken in deep space. MRSG exists to provide competitive, high-yield resource extraction, refining, and hauling while guaranteeing fair wages, excellent job security, and absolute worker protection for every hand on the deck.

As a URW-aligned entity, our operations stand on three core pillars:

1. Honest Labor: Harnessing the industrial power of mining, salvage, and logistics to build the Empire from the bedrock up.
2. Collective Safety: Zero compromise on workplace health, ship tolerances, and environment management in high-risk sectors.

  • The Refiner & Logistics Union (Supply Chain): Breakdown engineers, cargo haulers, and fuel gatherers. They operate the supply lines and execute the strategic delivery of materials to fair-value markets.
  • The Fleet Protective Escort (Defensive Wing): A specialized combat unit dedicated exclusively to defensive operations. Their sole mission is safeguarding the lives and assets of working crews against piracy and unprovoked aggression.

## III. WORKER RIGHTS & OPERATIONS

### 1. Safety Tolerances & Comms Discipline

  • All industrial hulls (including mining lasers, salvage scrapers, and heavy haulers) must be maintained to meet or exceed standard UEE safety tolerances.
  • During active operations, comms priority is maintained to ensure spatial awareness, laser synchronization, and immediate response to environmental hazards or hostile contacts.

### 2. Rules of Engagement (ROE)

  • Industrial Elements: In monitored space, assets will comply with local laws. In unmonitored space (e.g., Pyro), non-combat vessels will prioritize immediate quantum evacuation if interdicted.
  • Protective Escorts: Authorized to deploy proactive, overwhelming defensive force against any unapproved combat signature closing within a 5km radius of an active MRSG industrial operation grid.
