On August 5th, 2534, Tarin Doyl founded the Mining Association with independents miners in *********, Terra, capitalized with 640 credits the association started with a simple idea; end the supremacy of imperial corporations (state owned corporations) by creating a private fund that would re-inject all benefits into the association. In 2537, they would buy, trough cash pooled donation, there first extraction ship, a Rhino Model M with a homemade driller. A few month later, Doyl merged with a competitor, Claft Mineral, and formed the Mining Compagny. Due to increasing criminality and the lack of proper insurances, a delivery service was introduced, combining the extraction and the secure transportation of high value minerals.
In 2541, a consolidated service began in New York City, Earth, and soon after in other major systems. A years later, the logo was redesigned to reflect the company’s new name the Mining and Trading Company. All MTC vehicles are then painted in grey and black with a wind rose.
