History
The Story of Floof.
Floof was a poor dirt farmer on a dying, dust-choked world. They spent years staring at a barren horizon, feeling the deep ache of loneliness. One night, looking up at the cold, empty sky, Floof realized something profound: the vast, abandoned spaces of the universe were not terrifying—they were beautiful, silent sanctuaries.
Leaving the failing farm behind, Floof patched together a rusty cargo ship and set sail into the dark void. They began charting the forgotten, desolate corners of the cosmos that major star-empires ignored. Along the way, Floof encountered other lonely wanderers, nomads, and outcasts who had no home in the crowded, noisy galaxies.
To give these drifting souls a purpose and a family, Floof founded The Nowhere Company.
Manifesto
Floof’s Motivation: From Isolation to Absolute Freedom
As a poor dirt farmer, Floof experienced a suffocating kind of loneliness. It was not just the lack of people, but the feeling of being trapped on a barren plot of land that offered no future. When Floof looked up at the stars, they realized that the vast emptiness of space was not a threat, but a promise of absolute freedom.

Floof finds a deep, almost spiritual beauty in the abandoned. To Floof, a blank, frozen planet is not dead—it is untouched, peaceful, and entirely free from the noise and greed of civilization.
Giving the Lonely a Home:
Floof knows exactly how painful it is to feel alone in a crowd. Their motivation shifted from a personal escape into a mission to gather other wandering souls who also thrive on the fringes of society.
The Purpose of The Nowhere Company: The Cosmic Sanctuary
The Nowhere Company was not created to conquer, mine, or exploit the universe. Instead, it was built to offer a community for those who do not fit anywhere else.
Mapping the Invisible:
They deliberately seek out the places on star charts marked as “nothing.” They document the quiet beauty of tiny asteroids, forgotten nebulae, and abandoned space stations.
Radical Acceptance for Nomads:
The company operates as a loose floating network of independent drifters. It demands nothing from its members except a mutual respect for the silence and for each other’s freedom. They provide fuel, shelter, and a community without chains.
Charter
*Leave no trace: Never alter, destroy, or loot the beauty of a forgotten place. Leave every planet, asteroid, and abandoned station exactly as you found it.
*Respect the silence: Every wanderer has a right to isolation. Never force interaction, and always respect another member’s need for space and quiet.
*Share the void: In the deep unknown, resources are life. If you encounter a fellow nomad in distress, you must offer fuel, water, or technical aid without expecting payment.
- Be civil: Treat everyone with respect. No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, or age.
*No message spam: Do not send repetitive messages, walls of text, or ping staff and users unnecessarily.
