History Manifesto Charter

History

Narcissus was originally founded in 2113 by a group of ex-military and security personnel. At this point, all operations were conducted on Earth and focused on private security for wealthy individuals. Over time the company fell into the public eye, where it became renowned for exceptional performance.

Eventually, Narcissus was one of the leading security groups for corporations focusing on the development of space travel technologies. In 2206 the combined efforts of Narcissus and rival company Red Raven prevented an attack on an RSI testing facility. It is said that if this attack would have worked, the development of modern quantum drives would have taken decades, if not centuries longer.

As humanity traversed the stars, Narcissus followed.

Manifesto

Since conflict has existed, there has always been profit to be made in violence. Narcissus understands that there will always be a need for extra firepower and security, no matter the scale of the operation. Amongst these stars there will always be danger, no matter how cautious you may try to be, it never hurts to have someone watching your back. For this reason, our services can be provided to anyone willing to pay.

We also believe that those under our employ should be able to work freely as they please. For this reason, our elite group of security personnel are allowed to work for free if they so choose, as well as being able to dictate any increased prices for hazard pay*. If you are lucky enough to receive aid from our staff for free, we ask that you spread word of their generosity.

*Hazard pay should be decided upon prior to any mission involvement. Any attempts to increase hazard pay during operations are not enforced by Narcissus.

Charter

As a private company, our workers are not subject to the same strict rules of something like the UEE Navy. Our workers are free to act as they please as long as they remain dedicated to their work and perform well in their duties. We believe that one’s character should not limit their employment with us, rather the quality of their work should.
