History
The Stanton System, a crucible of opportunity and conflict, has witnessed the rise and fall of countless corporations. New Eden Genesis, a fledgling organization in its first decade, carries the weight of both hope and a turbulent past. Here’s there history.
Origins (2942-2945):
- The seeds of New Eden Genesis were sown during the brutal Messer Era. A group of UEE citizens, disillusioned with the Empire’s oppressive policies and corporate greed, yearned for a new beginning. Inspired by the mythical “Garden of Eden,” they dreamt of a society built on equality, self-sufficiency, and environmental consciousness.
- This idealistic group, led by charismatic leader Dr. Amelia Sato, found refuge in the fringe world of Pyro. Here, they established a small agricultural colony, “New Eden,” focused on sustainable living and terraforming technology.
Tragedy and Exodus (2946):
- Disaster struck in 2946 when a Xi’An scouting party stumbled upon New Eden. Misinterpreting the colony’s intentions, the Xi’An attacked, leaving the settlement in ruins and Dr. Sato dead. The survivors, filled with grief and a burning desire for justice, vowed to rebuild.
Genesis Anew: The Corporation Emerges (2947-2950):
- Seeking resources and protection, the New Eden survivors journeyed to the Stanton System. With the backing of sympathetic independent backers, they re-formed as “New Eden Genesis” – a corporation dedicated to terraforming technology and environmental restoration.
- The early years were challenging. New Eden Genesis faced fierce competition from established corporations like Terraforming Corporation (TFC) and skepticism from the UEE bureaucracy. However, their dedication to sustainable practices, innovative terraforming solutions, and a commitment to uplifting struggling communities slowly gained them recognition.
