History

Osiris Division is comprised of many former Sector 13-A members after being abandoned by The Advocate after a devastating loss on Gridiron.

The Collapse
On May 28, 2722, the IMC began a large scale counter offensive on the planet of Gridiron to destroy or push back Advocate forces. At 0443 The Ancillary (Former Flagship of Sector 13-A) detected eight warp signatures congruent to the IMC Malta class ship, additionally four more warp signatures of IMC Supercarriers were detected. At 0456 the IMC fleet engaged the Advocate fleet, the Ancillary attempted to alert ground forces but was unsuccessful because of jamming by the IMC, six smaller class Advocate ships were immediately destroyed. Many other ships were able to fully power their shields in time to avoid a similar fate but overwhelming fire from the IMC ships still caused extreme damage to the fleet. For over an hour Advocate ships fell one by one until the Ancillary was the last ship remaining. The IMC Fleet Commander ordered a Malta class ship to ram into the Ancillary to end the orbital battle. The Ancillary attempted to move out of the way but was unsuccessful, resulting in the Ancillary being split into two. With the Advocate fleet in shambles, the IMC began moving their ships into position to attack ground targets. One Malta class ship warped above Training Ground Whitehead , former main Advocate base of operations), bombarding the reactor at Whitehead for almost a minute before warping out. The reactor sustained severe damage in the bombardment, causing it to meltdown and explode. On the West Coast of Gridiron the former IMC city of Alisterwick-Adren, the main base of Advocate operations on the West Coast, suffered an orbital bombardment as well. Advocate Ground Forces became disorganized in the chaos due to the jamming of communications, making it easy for the IMC to wipe out most smaller Advocate squads.

Evacuation Of Gridiron
Shortly after the orbital battle ended ACCEL-042 was leading a contingent of Advocate Ground Forces looking for a destroyed IMC titan in the East Coast, hoping it could hold valuable information that could help progress the war. During this search a large squad of GDU (Gridiron Defense Unit) Pilots ambushed the contingent causing ACCEL-042 to call for a retreat. The contingent retreated to the outskirts of Training Ground Whitehead, unaware of the radiation in the area, hoping to contact any surviving Advocate Ground Forces. A squad of Militia SRS pilots, sent to Gridiron to help the local rebel groups, spotted the contingent and engaged. Unsure if they were engaging IMC soldiers the SRS pilots attempted contact over local radio. After being told who they were fighting, the SRS pilots disengaged and told ACCEL-042 of their plans to evacuate. The SRS pilots and the contingent moved towards Rise to help the Militia forces trapped by the GDU. Once on scene the contingent engaged in brutal close quarter battle with GDU Pilots, slowly pushing towards the evacuation point. Once most of the GDU was cleared of the area, a Militia Dropship warped in and began evacuating personnel. As the evacuation proceeded an IMC titan dropped in causing the Militia dropship to leave before all personnel was able to board. Out of the contingent of twenty six Advocate soldiers, only thirteen were able to evacuate.

Harmony And The Beginning Of Osiris Division
The Militia was grateful for the help and allowed the contingent to settle an abandoned area on Harmony, where many of the survivors stayed. ACCEL-042 began plans to make a new PMC with the help of notable members of Sector 13-A. The process took a full two years to get the infrastructure set up and to secure funding from the Militia. On July 21, 2724, ACCEL-042 sent a message to all former Sector 13-A members to gather at the abandoned area, now called Firewatch. During this reunion Osiris Division was revealed, beginning a new chapter in many people’s lives.
