Founded in 2952, Oakmont Logistics is one of the newest independent logistics corporations operating within the Star Citizen. Established in the wake of increasing instability along the frontier and the growing demand for reliable civilian logistics, the company was created by a coalition of former merchant captains, military logistics officers, emergency medical pilots, and industrial entrepreneurs who believed the modern Empire needed more than massive shipping conglomerates. It needed a company that could move anything, anywhere, at any time.

Unlike the galaxy’s enormous transport corporations, Oakmont was designed from the ground up to remain agile. Rather than competing with industry giants on volume, the company built its reputation on speed, reliability, and versatility. Whether transporting critical industrial components to a remote mining colony, delivering humanitarian aid to disaster-stricken settlements, or rushing replacement quantum drives to stranded exploration crews, Oakmont quickly became known for accepting contracts that larger corporations considered too dangerous or too small to justify.

The company’s headquarters is located in the Terra system, chosen for its central location within the Empire and proximity to major trade routes. From there, Oakmont maintains regional logistics hubs throughout the Stanton, Pyro, and Nyx systems, allowing rapid deployment into both lawful and frontier space. While fully licensed by the United Empire of Earth to conduct civilian freight operations, Oakmont also works alongside local governments, private security organizations, mining corporations, and independent citizens.
