Onyx Industries’ history is documented back for generations in the ‘Verse. Onyx moved operations from Earth to Microtech during the land lease period in the 2800’s shorty after the terraforming accident. Onyx Industries contracts with Microtech to research and develop medical supplies, produce advanced sensors, ship components, weapons and electronics. OI is also involved in all aspects of industrial production: mining, hauling, salvage and trading. This sometimes requires a security or military arm of the company. In short: OI does business wherever it needs to. We always make the profitable decision.

The current CEO of OI is Helmet from the Onyx family. Rumors have surfaced concerning OI being involved with various illegal and illicit activities none of which have been proven in a UEE court of law. Onyx Industries is not a pirate organization.
