History
Founded in 2921, Ordo Mercatoria did not begin as a corporate venture, but as a coalition of necessity. Amid collapsing frontier markets, pirate ambushes, and unreliable UEE trade protections, a group of independent merchants, retired naval officers, and logistics architects formed a pact: to restore stability to chaos through discipline, structure, and mutual support.
The name, “Ordo Mercatoria” — Latin for Order of Trade — became a banner under which law-abiding traders and transport captains could operate with security, honor, and collective power.

As such, our organization unites traders, haulers, security/military professionals, diplomats, and logistical minds under a singular banner of discipline, integrity, and collective strength.

I. Purpose
Ordo Mercatoria exists to foster a structured, secure, and honorable trade network throughout the ‘verse. Our goal is to support interstellar commerce, provide logistical support, and ensure safe passage for all lawful operations.
II. Core Pillars
Commercium – Efficient, lawful trade operations across the system.
Custodia – Armed escorts, security logistics, and tactical response.
Concordia – Diplomatic engagement and intra-org cohesion.
III. Leadership Structure
High Prefect – Supreme executive of the Ordo. Directs strategic vision.
Prefects – Division commanders for Cargo, Security, and Diplomacy.
Legates – Operational leaders over fleets, teams, and projects.
Acolytes – New recruits under guidance and evaluation.
IV. Code of Conduct
Operate with honor in all dealings.
Uphold UEE law and organizational protocol.
Prioritize the safety and success of your fellow Ordo members.

V. Membership Requirements
Age 18+
English communication proficiency
Respect for RP, teamwork, and Ordo structure
No affiliation with pirate, griefing, or exploitative organizations
VI. Activity
We accept members of Casual, Regular, or Hardcore commitment levels. Participation in Ordo operations is expected per your declared status.
VII. Unity Clause
All members of Ordo Mercatoria act as representatives of the Order. External disputes, internal conflicts, or breaches of conduct will be handled swiftly by tribunal, led by the High Prefect and designated Prefects.
