1. PROJECT DAWN
   1. A Brief History

Project Dawn began as a small independent convoy outfit formed by a handful of transport pilots, security contractors, and former military personnel who shared the same frustration: too many civilian crews were being forced to choose between reliable transportation and reliable protection.

In its earliest days, the group operated simple escort runs through unstable trade corridors, protecting cargo haulers, medical shipments, industrial crews, and private transports from piracy and opportunistic attacks. What started as a loose network of pilots quickly developed into a disciplined organization known for one thing above all else:

getting people and cargo where they needed to go.

The name Project Dawn came from the organization’s founding philosophy — that every successful journey represents a new beginning.

As demand increased, Project Dawn expanded beyond basic escort work. Dedicated logistics teams were formed. Security wings were organized. Scouts, transport crews, combat pilots, and support personnel began operating under a unified command structure.

The organization soon became known for coordinated operations where security and logistics worked as one force rather than separate divisions.

During one of Project Dawn’s earliest major operations, a civilian convoy became stranded after suffering multiple mechanical failures in a region known for pirate activity. Rather than abandon the contract, Project Dawn crews established a defensive perimeter, repaired damaged vessels, redistributed cargo, and escorted the entire convoy to safety.

The operation lasted far longer than planned, but every ship reached its destination.

That mission became known internally as First Light, and its success helped define the standards Project Dawn follows to this day:

As the organization grew, so did its capabilities.

Transport vessels began handling larger cargo movements and personnel transfers. Security teams expanded into armed escort, patrol, reconnaissance, and rapid-response operations. Fleet commanders developed procedures for protecting industrial operations, trade routes, salvage crews, miners, and allied organizations.

Project Dawn evolved from a small transport escort group into a full-service logistics and security organization capable of operating across the ‘Verse.

Today, Project Dawn remains committed to the same principles established by its original crews:

Reliability. Discipline. Cooperation. Protection.

Whether moving critical supplies across a system, escorting a high-value convoy through hostile space, protecting an industrial operation, or responding to an ally in distress, Project Dawn operates with one purpose:
