Established on Earth in the 1700s by the Founding Fathers, our organization was originally known as the Plumbiers. What began as a secret society hunting supernatural shadows evolved into the universe’s premier peacekeeping force after Earth’s first contact with alien life. Today, we stand as the Custodes Universi — the unseen guardians of United Earth Empire doing the impossible work to ensure peace and justice prevail.

We’ve spent centuries evolving into the galaxy’s premier law enforcement agency, holding the line against powerful pirate syndicates and Vanduul threats alike. We are the custodians of the stars. We are the Plumbers. Join today!

I. Mission Statement

The Plumbers, are dedicated to the protection and preservation of peace across the galaxy. Our mission is to safeguard all planets and their inhabitants from extraterrestrial and supernatural threats. We are the custodians of the universe, doing the unseen work that others cannot — “plugging the leaks”, protecting all UEE life from various threats, and ensuring peace and justice prevail across the stars.

II. Core Directives

  1. Protection of the Universe: We ensure the safety and security of all planets and their inhabitants through advanced technology and unparalleled expertise.
  2. Combating Threats: We address and neutralize extraterrestrial and supernatural threats with precision and efficiency.
  3. Maintaining Discretion: We conduct our operations discreetly to prevent public panic and ensure the smooth execution of our missions.
  4. Upholding Justice: We act as a force for good, upholding the principles of justice and order in all our endeavors.

III. Organizational Structure

  1. Magister (Commander): Senior-rank officers responsible for overall strategy and high-level org command.
  2. Lieutenant: Tactical supervisors who report directly to Magisters and oversee specific operations and teams.
  3. Specialist: Core members who handle communications, intelligence, research, and other core support roles from home base.
  4. Agent: Field operatives who discretely conduct sector-specific investigations & missions and engage directly with threats.
  5. Technician: Support operatives who maintain and upgrade equipment, manage logistics and gathering, and provide technical support to org members.
  6. Rook (Recruit): Probationary members in active evaluation and training, assisting across all departments with various tasks under supervision.

Designation Protocol: All probationary members shall be formally addressed by the prefix “Rook” followed by their primary identifier (e.g., Rook [Name]). This designation remains until full Agent or Technician status is granted. Upon promotion, field operatives shall be formally identified and addressed by prefix “Agent” followed again by their given name (e.g. Agent [Name]).

*This nomenclature is mandatory for all official communications, mission logs, and fleet hailing frequencies.
