History

Formed in the aftermath of the Vanduul War Reorganization Act, S.W.O.R.D. was founded by veterans of UEE Naval and Marine special operations divisions who sought to continue their service free from political constraints. Operating as an independent, licensed Private Military Contractor, S.W.O.R.D. provides elite security, escort, and recovery operations throughout UEE space and frontier systems.

Over time, the regiment has grown into a symbol of precision warfare — a unit that values discipline over chaos, honor over profit. Many of its operatives, including its current commander Valkaras “Atlas” White, descend from decorated UEE officers but have chosen the life of the freelancer to serve a higher standard — one defined not by the flag, but by the code.

Operational Policies

S.W.O.R.D. operates under strict professional and ethical guidelines modeled after real-world Tier-1 special mission units and UEE military law. All members are expected to maintain discipline, integrity, and respect for lawful engagement at all times.

Rules of Engagement (ROE):
We engage only when authorized, provoked, or contracted under legitimate operations. Civilian, neutral, or non-combatant targets are strictly off-limits. Every operation must reflect honor, precision, and professionalism. Our tactics follow the standards of modern special operations doctrine — emphasizing stealth, coordination, and minimal collateral damage.

Operational Conduct:

No criminal acts, griefing, piracy, or exploitation of game mechanics.

All contracts must align with UEE law or recognized local jurisdiction.

Use of force must be justified within the mission’s operational framework.

Members represent S.W.O.R.D. at all times, on and off duty — conduct yourself accordingly.

S.W.O.R.D. is a milsim-driven PMC, blending first-person tactical gameplay with immersive roleplay. Every mission is treated as a real deployment — comms discipline, chain of command, and mission planning are upheld to Tier-1 standards.
