The Future is Hostile. We Make It Profitable.
Project Vidarr: Shadows in the Black
Founded: 2884 | Primary Base: Loki System, Asteroid Facility K-94
In the aftermath of the Second Tevarin War and during the corporate expansions of the late 29th century, a quiet but deadly player emerged from the fringes of UEE jurisdiction: Project Vidarr. Originally a classified black-ops program under the UEE Navy’s Section 7, Vidarr was tasked with experimental counter-insurgency operations during the early Vanduul incursions.
When political fallout from failed operations in the Odin System forced Project Vidarr into the shadows, its leadership—composed of ex-Naval intelligence officers and defense contractors from Behring and Aegis Dynamics—privatized the initiative, severing ties with the UEE under the guise of “corporate restructuring.” By 2892, it had rebranded as a Private Military Contractor, offering deniable, high-efficiency warfare to megacorps, fringe colonies, and even outlaw syndicates.
Operating from deep-space facilities in the Loki and Nexus systems, Project Vidarr became known for:
Null-flag fleet deployments
Black-site extractions
Planetary siege tactics
UEE-grade suppression tech in corporate hands
Whispers claim Vidarr units were involved in covert skirmishes near Tiber and acted as proxy forces during the Kellog Uprising, though no confirmations exist in official records—only anonymous Spectrum leaks and encrypted flight telemetry.
While corporations like ArcCorp and Hurston Dynamics deny any contractual ties, Vidarr’s presence tends to coincide with sudden stabilization of high-conflict zones… and the disappearance of opposing leadership.
Motto:
The Future is Hostile. We Make It Profitable.
Project Vidarr Manifesto
“We Outlive Empires.”
We are not beholden to the UEE.
We are not loyal to flags, oaths, or broken governments.
We serve contracts, not causes.
We deliver results, not excuses.
We don’t ask questions—we extract answers.
In a verse ruled by megacorps and hidden syndicates, information is power—and survival depends on how fast you can take it from someone else. Project Vidarr was born from the quiet wars, the deniable ops, the dirty work the military couldn’t be seen doing. We are ghosts in your comms, names on your bounty board, and shadows in your crew manifest.
We specialize in:
Deep-field infiltration
Zero-footprint extractions
High-value bounty retrievals
Covert surveillance and sabotage
To hire us is to tip the scale.
To oppose us is to vanish without trace.
Our operatives don’t leave footprints.
Only closed contracts and open graves.
This is Project Vidarr.
No loyalty. No limits. Just legacy.
Project Vidarr: Operational Code & Member Protocols
“We Outlive Empires. We Erase Shadows.”
1. Mission Comes First
Loyalty is to the contract and the crew—nothing else. Personal motives, politics, or revenge have no place in Vidarr operations. If you compromise the op, you become the op.
2. Operate Unseen, Exit Clean
Infiltration means precision. No collateral. No noise. No trace. You’re a ghost until extraction. If they know we were there, we failed.
3. Identify, Isolate, Eliminate
Targets are not people. They are objectives. Confirm ID. Complete the job. No second thoughts. Hesitation is death—for you or your team.
4. Leave the Law Behind
The UEE, Advocacy, and local authorities are not your allies. We operate outside jurisdictions. Do not rely on legal protections—they don’t apply to us.
5. Trust is Earned—Then Watched
Within Vidarr, trust is a tactical advantage, not a given. Assume your teammates are capable—but verify everything. Betrayal is met with silence… then removal.
6. Intel is Blood
Gather it. Guard it. Trade it. Information wins wars before a single shot is fired. Never speak openly. Never transmit unsecured. Scrub every trace.
7. Armor Up, Mask On
Your identity is classified. Your callsign is your name. Helmets stay on in unsecured zones. What they don’t know, they can’t target.
8. Extract or Expire
Always have an exit plan. If it goes sideways, fall back to extraction protocols. Dead heroes aren’t remembered. Living ones get paid.
9. Maintain Your Kit
A malfunctioning suit or misfire gets you killed. Your gear is your life. Inspect, prep, update, and encrypt. No exceptions.
10. We Don’t Exist
Vidarr doesn’t issue medals. There are no parades. We work in silence, and we vanish when the job’s done.
Reputation kills. Secrecy keeps us immortal.
