Look. I am not going to read 1000+ pages of Star Citizen lore in order to align history of this org with Star Citizen’s lore and its timeline.
Simply put, the org is modeled after “Raynor’s Raiders” of StarCraft universe. If you are unfamiliar with the StarCraft universe, here is a brief description of how Raynor’s Raiders operates:
=AI Summary of Raynor’s Raiders=
Jim Raynor’s leadership and organizational moral code in StarCraft centers on pragmatic heroism, fierce personal loyalty, and a “people-first” revolutionary ethos. As the commander of Raynor’s Raiders, his approach directly contrasts the cold, bureaucratic utilitarianism of the Terran Confederacy and Arcturus Mengsk’s Dominion.
His code can be broken down into five core pillars:
• Protection over Politics: Raynor firmly believes that the primary duty of a leader is to protect innocent civilian lives, regardless of tactical disadvantage.
• The Anti-Mengsk Stance: His entire moral foundation solidified when Arcturus Mengsk abandoned Sarah Kerrigan on Tarsonis. Raynor chose to break away and fight a losing guerrilla war rather than compromise human decency for political power.
• Leading from the Front: Raynor does not sit in a bunker while his troops die. He puts on his CMC combat suit and fights in the trenches alongside his Marines.
• Equal Hardship: By sharing the exact same risks and standard of living as his lowest-ranking grunt aboard the Hyperion, he earns absolute respect.
• No Man Left Behind: Raynor’s loyalty to his crew is absolute. If a Raider is captured or cornered, Raynor will burn an entire planet down to get them back.
• Reciprocal Devotion: In return, his crew (like Rory Swann and Matt Horner) display a fierce, almost fanatical loyalty to him. They stick with him through hopeless, underfunded campaigns because they trust him, not a government entity.
• Anti-Authoritarian Culture: The Hyperion operates more like a tightly-knit mercenary crew than a rigid military unit. Discipline is maintained through mutual respect rather than fear of court-martial.
• Redemption: Raynor judges individuals by their actions and their character, not their past. He readily welcomes ex-convicts, disillusioned Dominion deserters, and outcasts into his ranks, offering them a clean slate.
• The “Right Thing” Barometer: When making impossible strategic decisions, Raynor relies on a simple internal compass: doing what is inherently right, even if it is costly.
• Honesty with the Troops: He never lies to his crew about the odds. Before suicidal missions (like invading Char), he openly admits the danger, gives his troops a choice to back out, and rallies them around a shared, noble purpose.

R7R is maintained as a small org (<20 online members). Online members are welcome to invite their real-life friends (RLFs) as they wish. RLFs do not count toward the limit.
Complete discord-free, and 3rd-party-app-free environment. R7R relies heavily on org spectrum and in-game communication tools.
Everyone has their own reasons. No need to suggest. No need to ask. No need to tell.
There are plenty of available orgs out there that use discord. Not here.
Only exception for discord usage (for members who wish to use the app) is when we have joint operations with ally organizations.
We value your real life obligations.
No strict events, no mandatory participation.
You want to do something together? Let us know in org’s spectrum forum and/or in-game messaging system.
Just come online and participate whenever you can. So that we know you are alive and well ;)
R7R is a lawful and honorable org. Within the org’s ethos, have fun.
Simple basic human decency. We understand we all have flaws and bad days. But don’t test and/or push the limit.
No need to explain.
