HISTORY: Freyja always knew that mortals would ascend to the stars; she was a goddess of prophecy after all. But they were still young, weak, and needed a guiding hand to stem the tide of chaos lest Fenrir break his chains and bring everything crashing down in their astral infancy.

Thus she made Ragnarok Company. Spanning back to shortly after humanity’s first steps past their home world, Ragnarok Company has been the home of various heroes and other mighty warriors felled in the battles waged in the heavens. Hand picked by her host of Valkyrie, Freyja gets first pick of half those slain in combat; from ship-to-ship combat to skirmishes on the ground. All who she deems worthy are brought forth to pledge fealty to her and her cause in her hall of Sessrúmnir upon the field of Fólkvangr. Thus pledged to her service, they are trained in all manner of combat skills from hand-to-hand, weapon wielding, and even ship combat.

Hierarchal rotation means that the right hand of Freyja is constantly refreshed; relieving the former of their post to allow fresh ideas and new blood to flow freely through the org. It is also tradition for each right hand to take on a new name honouring their patroness Freyja with the current right hand having the moniker of DJ Freyja.
