The Royal Australian Space Force (RASF) is the space warfare branch of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and operates the majority of the ADF’s spacecraft. RASF directly continues the traditions of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), formed on 31 March 1921.

In the present day, the RASF provides support across a spectrum of operations such as space and air superiority, precision strikes, intelligence, space mobility, space surveillance and reconnaissance, and humanitarian support.

In doing so, the RASF strives to provide the best support to, and integrate to best effect with our joint, allied and coalition partners such as the UEE, continuing to provide outstanding, universal best space power options to the Australian Government and UEE Joint Force Commanders.
