Black Halo is a casual Star Citizen organization built around good people, shared experiences, and freedom to play the game your own way. We are not a hardcore military unit or roleplay group. We’re gamers, pilots, miners, traders, explorers, bounty hunters, and rule breakers who enjoy the PU.
Black Halo was not founded by politicians, admirals, or wealthy corporate elites. It began with a small group of independent pilots who spent more time surviving the frontier than talking about it. Miners, haulers, mercenaries, mechanics, and drifters crossed paths in the outer lanes of Stanton, usually meeting at damaged stations, refinery decks, or contract terminals after long runs through dangerous space.
Over time, those repeated encounters became trust.
The name “Black Halo” came from the belief that even in the darkest parts of space, there are still people willing to watch each other’s backs. Not heroes. Not saviors. Just ordinary individuals trying to build something real in a universe filled with greed, piracy, and corporate power struggles.
Unlike large militarized organizations, Black Halo never sought political influence or territorial control. The organization was built around freedom, friendship, and self-reliance. Members were encouraged to forge their own paths while knowing they always had a crew willing to answer a distress call, provide escort protection, share resources, or simply enjoy the journey together.
As the organization grew, Black Halo developed a reputation as a dependable freelance network capable of adapting to nearly any contract or challenge. Cargo hauling, mining operations, salvage recovery, bounty work, exploration, and combat support all became part of its identity.
Today, Black Halo remains a casual but loyal organization where people come first, egos stay behind, and the mission is simple:
Fly together. Survive together. Build something worth remembering in the black between the stars.
Black Halo was built for those who value freedom, loyalty, and the people beside them more than status or politics. We are not driven by power, territory, or rigid hierarchy. We are freelancers, explorers, workers, fighters, and survivors navigating the chaos of the universe together.
Our organization exists to create a relaxed but dependable community where members can enjoy Star Citizen without pressure or ego. Whether running cargo, mining the Halo, salvaging wrecks, hunting bounties, exploring deep space, or simply flying for the experience, every member has the freedom to choose their own path while knowing they have a crew willing to stand beside them.
We believe trust is earned through action, not titles. Respect is given freely but maintained through character. Black Halo values teamwork, maturity, humor, and self-reliance. We help each other succeed, answer distress calls when we can, and understand that real life always comes first.
We are not the loudest organization in the system, nor do we aim to be. Our reputation is built quietly through consistency, loyalty, and the shared experiences of those who fly under our banner.
In the darkness between the stars, Black Halo is a reminder that no pilot truly flies alone.
