History

Ruhrkraft Interstellar was founded only a decade after the discovery of jump points. Being a family run corporation to this day, Ruhrkraft Interstellar was founded when three brothers merged their businesses and expertise to create a company fit for the monumental tasks represented by the possibility of interstellar travel and commerce. One of the brothers was the chief researcher in an R&D company, while the other two had experience as managers of small enterprises. The latter two became the first leaders of the corporation while the third became head of the research division. He was responsible for daring expeditions into unknown space to test and develop new technologies for this exciting new world. All three brothers had a major impact on the success of the business in its first years making them legends to this day.

Since then, Ruhrkraft Interstellar had several notable deliveries of new technologies in all sectors that are still relevant today. The only sector that has had no such delivery and today is no longer part of the corporation was the financial services branch. Founded about a decade after Ruhrkraft Interstellar itself, this branch offered complementary funding options for the various products. It soon became apparent that the administrative overhead of this branch was too large to be profitable. It has since then been separated from the company and absorbed into the intransperant financial sector.

In contrast to many other long running companies, Ruhrkraft Interstellar was never a hot topic, neither as a shooting star company nor as a falling giant of industry. The careful administration and focus on a broad spectrum of high quality products meant that a slow but steady growth of the company was achieved even during times of major crisis.

Overall the guiding theme of the company has not seen any major changes, making Ruhrkraft Interstellar one of if not the most traditional of all companies still existing. However these virtues help even today to excel at delivering highest quality products and cutting edge technologies, tailored specifically to the customers needs.

Manifesto

The primary goal of Ruhrkraft Interstellar is to deliver high quality items to ensure the customers satisfaction. Knowing that different people have different needs, Ruhrkraft Interstellar offers four main series of products. The products themselves range from microchips to whole custom-fitted starships and there a very few items that are not offered by Ruhrkraft Interstellar.

The most basic line of products is called the business line. The business line combines the famous sturdiness and reliability that characterizes all Ruhrkraft Interstellar products and puts them in a package that allows for reasonable prices. The business line products are sought after by many space pilots that like to have items that simply work in any circumstance.

The performance line of products is the logical next step if one wants to upgrade equipment. Offering the same quality than the business line, the performance line items use higher quality materials and manufacturing processes to enhance the performance of the items primary function.
In tight situations a performance line item will never let you down and always delivers on its promises.

The professional line is the absolute high-end range of products. If you are looking for the best performance possible, the professional line is for you. Highest quality materials and extensive research are necessary to create these truly stunning items. This level of quality however means that only a small number of items can be produced and at times and delays for deliveries can occur. But once you get your professional line item there will be no going back to anything less.

If you are the type of person who truly wants to stand out and loves to use one-of items, then the custom line items is what you want. There is no standard portfolio of these items and every single one is developed according to the needs of the customers. Every detail is discussed in advance to make sure you will get the exact item you want. Needless to say that these items are manufactured in the research department as prototypes employing the newest and sometimes even still experimental manufacturing techniques. This ensures that the item is truly the cutting-edge of what it technological possible at any given time.
