The Standard In Interstellar Transit

Quantum Driven Reliability

History

Roanoke Logistics: Legacy & Leadership (Est. 2912)
Originally founded over 40 years ago as a small planetary courier on MicroTech, Roanoke Logistics has survived decades of market crashes, pirate wars, and corporate restructuring to become a titan of 2955 interstellar freight.

Historical Leadership
Founding Director Elias Thorne (2912–2931): A former UEE Navy navigator who built the company’s reputation on “Absolute Arrival.” He famously lost his life defending a shipment of medical supplies during the Oretani collapse.

Director Sarah Vane (2931–2948): Known as the “Iron Shipper,” Vane aggressivey expanded the fleet into the Hull-C and D class heavy-lifters, pivoting Roanoke from local couriers to systemic freight giants.

The Current Directorate (2950–Present)
After Vane’s retirement, the board appointed two directors with vastly different expertise to lead Roanoke into the new frontier:

Dongu Dongu (Director of Operations): A veteran of the frontier lanes who modernized the fleet with “Void-Hardened” tactical escorts. He focuses on the how—ensuring no ship is ever left behind in the black.

Cal Mercer (Director of Strategy): A corporate mastermind who leveraged the company’s long history to secure exclusive UEE trade permits. He focuses on the where—mapping the most profitable routes through the Stanton-Pyro corridor.

2955 Status
With over four decades of history, Roanoke remains a symbol of stability. While other firms have folded, Roanoke continues to move the Verse, backed by a legacy of grit and the modern precision of Dongu and Mercer.

Manifesto

The Roanoke Manifesto: 2955 Mandate
Since 2912, the stars have changed, the borders have shifted, and the threats have multiplied. But the philosophy of Roanoke Logistics remains as constant as a pulsar. We do not just move cargo; we maintain the lifeblood of the civilization expanding into the black.

I. The Intent: Absolute Arrival
Space is an entity of chaos, but our logistics are an engine of order. Our primary intent is the elimination of “lost tonnage.” Whether hauling medical supplies to a colonial outpost or heavy industrial equipment to a Stanton refinery, our goal is a 100% arrival rate. To Roanoke, a delayed shipment is a failure, and a lost shipment is a tragedy we refuse to accept.

II. The Motive: Stability Through Strength
We are motivated by the belief that commerce is the only true anchor in a volatile Verse. Under the leadership of Directors Dongu Dongu and Cal Mercer, our motive is to bridge the gap between the civilized core and the untamed frontier. We do not wait for the lanes to be safe; we make them safe. We operate so that the engineers, the miners, and the settlers never have to look at the sky and wonder if their supplies are coming.
III. The View: The Void is a Resource, Not a Barrier
Where others see a terrifying vacuum, Roanoke sees a network of opportunities.

On Risk: We view risk as a variable to be managed, not a reason to turn back. If the route is dangerous, we up-armor. If the jump is unstable, we recalibrate.

On Cooperation: We believe in the power of the convoy. Roanoke stands as a collective shield for its pilots, ensuring that no individual hauler faces the dark alone.

On the Future: We view the 2950s as the dawn of a new era. As we push into the Stanton-Pyro corridor, we view ourselves not just as a company, but as the architects of the next great trade route.

IV. The Roanoke Vow
“We honor the legacy of Thorne and Vane by looking forward through the cockpits of today. We fly the ships that others won’t, through the systems that others fear, to deliver the future that everyone needs.”

Roanoke Logistics: Integrity Across the Void.

Charter

Roanoke Logistics: Corporate Charter & Pilot Code of Conduct (v.2955)
This document serves as the binding operational agreement for all personnel under the command of Director Dongu Dongu and Director Cal Mercer. To wear the Roanoke patch is to commit to a legacy of 43 years of uninterrupted service.

Article I: Operational Integrity
The Cargo First Mandate: Once a contract is accepted, the cargo is the pilot’s primary soul. Abandoning freight without a direct “Scuttle Order” from Ops is grounds for immediate contract termination.

Vessel Maintenance: All pilots are responsible for the flight-readiness of their ships. A Roanoke ship is a representative of our corporate precision; keep hulls repaired and systems optimized.

The “Void-Hardened” Standard: Pilots must be proficient in emergency quantum jumps and defensive maneuvers. We do not run from the dark; we navigate through it.

Article II: Fleet Synchronicity
Convoy Protocol: During multi-ship operations, the Lead Logistics Officer (LLO) holds absolute authority. Wingmen and escorts must maintain formation to ensure “Convoy-Shield” effectiveness.

No Pilot Left Behind: We are a collective. If a fleet member’s drive fails or they are interdicted, all nearby Roanoke units are authorized to divert for extraction or defense.

Communication Silence: When operating in “High-Risk” sectors (e.g., Pyro/Nyx), strict radio discipline must be maintained to minimize signature detection.
