History
The story of The Roommates began as a team working for the United Empire of Earth (UEE). They were tasked with maintaining “freedom” and “security” across Stanton, but it wasn’t long before the members saw the truth behind the propaganda. Requies, formerly known as Fox, was a marine and had witnessed the abuses firsthand.
When the team was ordered to carry out increasingly unethical missions that clashed with their values, they refused to follow orders leading to their dishonorable discharge and subsequent disbandment. Each member went their separate ways, disillusioned with the UEE and its promises of freedom and security.
The name ‘Fox’ had come to represent her days of blind loyalty to a corrupt system, and she needed a change. She adopted the name ‘Requies,’ meaning rest or respite, as a reminder of her new mission—to bring peace, even if it meant fighting for it. Requies, however, decided that the fight wasn’t over. She began forming a PMC group known as The Roommates—now an underground resistance movement dedicated to fighting against corruption, corporate exploitation, and fascist regimes, starting in Stanton and beyond.
Manifesto
We, The Roommates, stand united against the oppression and systemic corruption that plague our galaxy. We are the forgotten, the disillusioned, and the restless who refuse to sit idle while the powerful profit off the suffering of the weak. This manifesto declares our intentions, our motives, and our vision for the future—a future where justice is not reserved for the wealthy, where freedom is not the privilege of the few, and where every individual has the right to live without fear.

The Roommates aim to dismantle the forces of corruption, corporate exploitation, and fascist regimes that dominate the Stanton system and beyond. We will operate in the shadows, striking at the heart of the systems that hold power. We will liberate those shackled by unjust contracts, expose the lies spread by the powerful, and provide support for the communities that need it the most. Our operations are not driven by personal gain but by the dream of a galaxy where people are truly free.
Our Motives
We fight because we have seen the truth behind the facade of “freedom” and “security” promised by the United Empire of Earth (UEE) and corporate overlords. We have seen families torn apart by greed, workers treated as expendable resources, and entire communities left to fend for themselves. We fight because we believe that a better world is possible—a world that values people over profit and solidarity over division. Our motives are simple: to ensure that every person has the right to live without oppression and to take back the power that has been stolen from the people.
Our Vision
We envision a galaxy where the marginalized are uplifted, where every person—regardless of their background, skills, or beliefs—has a voice that matters. We see a future where the powerful are held accountable for their actions, where corporations can no longer abuse the vulnerable, and where people can live without fear of exploitation. Our vision is one of true equality and mutual aid, where the strength of our communities is found in their diversity and resilience.
We do not seek to replace one tyrant with another. We do not seek to rule, but to inspire others to rise up and take control of their own destinies. We are not soldiers for hire; we are a movement, a spark of rebellion that will ignite the fires of change. The Roommates are here to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves, to offer hope where there is none, and to remind the galaxy that the true power lies with the people.

This charter serves as the guiding principles and public rules that all members of The Roommates shall abide by. Our mission is to fight against corruption, tyranny, and exploitation, and our actions must reflect the values we strive to protect. By adhering to these rules, we ensure that our operations are just, our members are safe, and our cause remains true.

Every member shall commit themselves fully to the mission of The Roommates, and dedicate themselves wholly to our mission. Personal motivations and conflicts must not interfere with our collective goal. Alignment with the group’s values is crucial to ensure a positive and cohesive roleplaying environment. We are not here to bring harm to the innocent, and our actions must always reflect this. Every operation must minimize collateral damage, with the safety of non-combatants as a priority. The Roommates are a family, and we support each other unconditionally. We share resources, work together, and ensure no one is left behind. We believe that strength lies in diversity, and members must respect each other’s differences, including but not limited to gender, sexuality, race, culture, and beliefs. Discrimination or prejudice has no place among The Roommates. However, we also recognize the Paradox of Tolerance: we cannot tolerate intolerance, as doing so would undermine the very diversity and respect we strive to protect.
8. Operate with Integrity
We use whatever tactics are necessary to achieve our goals, including violence when needed, but our methods must reflect our values. We do not harm or destroy senselessly. We do not stoop to the tactics of our enemies without just cause. Be peaceful not harmless.
9. Continuous Learning
Every member must strive for personal growth, both in skill and understanding of the world around us. Training, education, and self-improvement are encouraged, as they are necessary for the success of our mission.
