Your crew deserves it.

History

Relief Officer Services is a newly minted organization founded by Kay Lee-Anne. As someone who was in the familiar position of mediocrity while still craving adventure and luxury, she instead strove to pave a path her own way. The old fashioned way. The oldest fashioned way, in fact. Since her current skill set wasn’t good enough for crews to take her aboard, she’d just have to use a skill set she was proficient in and make it relevant. Because one way or another, she was going to have her adventure. And buy that space yacht.

And so can you.

Manifesto

Goals
Relief Officer Services runs on a simple philosophy. Every crew needs a way to relax. To relieve themselves. As such, Relief Officers should most definitely totally have a place on their ship. To aid and assist with providing said relief. And ROS won’t stop until every crew out there is clamoring to hire one.

What is a Relief Officer
A Relief Officer is, for all intents and purposes, a regular crew mate with a few special duties. One that is contracted for longer or more stressful trips, where pent up urges may need to be vented, or perhaps for some additional service for luxury tours, business meetings, or diplomatic expeditions. Anything where their touch may be required, really. In times of need, they will behave as any other crewmate is expected to, so long as it does not interfere with their primary duty or contradict their contractor’s orders. The remaining, and arguably most important, part of their duties can be left unsaid.

No really, what is this?
To put it bluntly, an attempt at mixing the lesser acknowledged, more ‘adult’ side of roleplay with Star Citizen. Y’know, the kind that gets mocked a ton by people who are actually secretly curious about it and internet journalists take potshots at to try and pump views because it was a pretty dry day.. The Star Citizen equivalent of Goldshire on Moonguard, if you catch my meaning, but with the ROS branding.

What’s your purpose?
Personally? I want to create a story. A raunchy B-grade story straight off the space Hub, sure. but a story nonetheless. I want to take my Citizen, start her with nothing, and slowly build herself up without the ridiculous level of opportunity provided normally, and almost entirely through social interaction. No game contracts outside of what my current contractor shares, no solo rep grind to ERT on my little scooter starter ship, and no vulture/prospector to go on day long cycles ending with millions of credits.

She’ll earn a lore accurate wage (keep in mind a burger is 10 credits), her fair share of a split from multicrew will be siphoned off to my main, and she’ll generally behave like a civilian/NPC in that she won’t recklessly throw herself into a fight. And at the end, hopefully she can buy that fat, juicy space yacht and live a life of debauched luxury. Y’know, until the next wipe makes her poor again. And if you feel the same way, whether because you desire your own similar RP adventure or simply wish to partake in the more debauched side of roleplay, then I’d love for you to join me.

How do I join?
Simple! Just hit me up on Discord at Kay Lee-Anne#8567 and we can chat! Let me know if you’re looking to be an RO or a Patron, and if things fit, I’ll invite you to the server and send you an invitation to the org!

Charter

Rules
1. 18+. This org is blatantly inappropriate for those below legal age. All members must be over the age of 18.

2. Be nice. Not too hard to explain. While in character I have no particular qualms for how you act, but don’t go around acting like a jerk while OOC. Just be sure to respect your roleplay partners opinion as well. We’re all here to have fun.

3. No politics. No, I don’t care who you think is right, what you think is wrong, and your stance on whatever is going on out there. This is an freaky roleplay org for a space game that’s been in development for twelve years at this point. Any semblance of reality has long jumped out the airlock. Keep it to yourself.

4. No discrimination. No jokes this time. Don’t do it. If you feel like that’s me being political, go ahead and show yourself out. Gender, sex, ethnicity, whatever, we’re all human beings behind that monitor and if you can’t cope with that, I don’t want you here.

5. No RL. There will be no pics, vids, names, social media, or voice comms. I’m not comfortable with sharing that information with strangers on the internet, nor am I comfortable with learning that information about strangers on the internet. While anecdotes and the like are something I’d be happy to listen to, I draw the line at identities. No exceptions.

6. Lore Accuracy. While I won’t restrict how you play the game outside of org related activities, I’ll ask that you remain faithful to the lore while participating in org activities/RP or flying our flag. That means money. You can take your fair share for your work, of course, but please portion out a reasonable stipend to count as ‘earned’ for your job to apply to org roleplay and purchases. In other words, you can fly that fancy 890j you pledged or earned through your other orgs and do whatever you want cause it’s your own thing, so long as you don’t bring it in to ROS roleplay. The journey is very much so the destination here. Let’s earn that super yacht together the old fashioned way, then turn it into a brothel.

8. Fair wage. On the flip side, I’ll ask our Patrons and VIP’s to please not scalp our Relief Officers. While you can haggle the roleplay wage all you’d like, if the RO is doing their fair share of gameplay, then they deserve their fair share of the cut. If the RO is open to working only for a lore accurate wage or doing only roleplay then that’s between you, but you should assume that they should be paid like any other crewmate outside of RP if they’ve contributed to your gains. We’re trying to make a fun sci fi ‘adult entertainment’ ring here, not be cheap labor to help you farm aUEC.
